Jesus ⚜️

It’s a common struggle to wonder if we measure up to God’s expectations.

We may have days where we feel confident in our actions and thoughts, and other days where we fall short.

Perhaps we have moments where we don’t take advantage of opportunities to show kindness or love to those around us.

It’s not always easy to avoid making mistakes, whether intentional or not.

Sometimes, we may even fall into bad habits or make excuses for behaviour that we know is wrong.

It’s important to remember that we are all imperfect and prone to making mistakes.

Instead of being hard on ourselves,

let’s take a compassionate approach and examine our behaviour with kindness.

By doing so, we can strive to improve and become the best version of ourselves.

After all, it’s not about being perfect,

but rather about making progress and growing in our faith.

Caring ~

I don’t do fakeness.

You may not like what I say but you’ll If my actions tell you that

I like you then I’m not acting.

I’m a genuine person.

It hasn’t always been that way but people learn and they grow.

I don’t understand being nice to someone’s face and then shingling them behind their back.

I don’t understand why not

being upfront and

forthcoming about your feelings for others

I don’t understand people’s words and actions not matching up.

For me, there is no compromise.

If you are important to me then I’ll be loyal to a fault and if you’re not then I won’t,

I expect the same.

If you can’t give me that then I’m not the right person to be in your life and that’s okay.

Life is short.

I don’t have time to second-guess

where do I stand with

I don’t have time to worry that people in my circle don’t have my best intentions at

If I have to question where I stand with you

I’d rather not have you standing with me.

Stock Photography: A Definitive Guide to Profitable Images

The storms of life can come at us all of a sudden. We are sailing along and then, wham! We are in the middle of a storm and feel that Jesus is asleep! What we need is faith. Now, Jesus is not going to calm all the seas that we encounter, but he is not asleep. He is beside us helping us ride out the storm. As I sit here this morning, we have been brushed by a hurricane, which didn’t cause us much inconvenience, let alone damage. However, parts of the Caribbean were hit by the full force of the storm, and I’m sure that many people there are wondering if God was asleep! The forces of nature are something that we all deal with regardless of where we live. It can be a hurricane, a tornado, a blizzard, flooding rains, or a drought. It doesn’t matter what it is if it affects us. What we can do is help those who are affected in whatever ways possible for us. We can reach out to neighbours, donate money or clothing to relief effortless, and we can certainly pray for those who are suffering from the storm. In the personal storms of life, we can trust that the Lord is with us, that we are not alone. Part of our daily prayer can be asking God to be present to those who are suffering that day. We may not know anyone in trouble, but we can be sure that someone is in need of prayer. God knows who needs our prayers and will be sure to answer them.
