WISDOM ~ JOHN

@johnny2pencils

It’s okay if life scares you right now and you don’t really know what to do next.

It’s okay if everything seems to be hurting and all you feel is anxious and worried.

And it’s okay if you are hopeless about everything.

It’s okay.

It’s okay.

It’s okay.

All these feelings have value and you don’t have to pretend like they don’t hurt you.

Our greatest strength lies in our ability to acknowledge our pain and the things that hurt us.

Remember everything that you are going through is temporary, none of them are here to stay.

Don’t worry if it doesn’t seem to add up at the moment. Sometimes things take time to fall into place and make sense.”

But when they leave they will leave you as a person stronger than ever before.

So let yourself feel all that you need to feel.

Do whatever you feel necessary for you to heal yourself.

It’s okay if it takes time.

WISDOM ~

@acenewsviews

It’s important to know that you’re not alone in this world.

There are others who, like you, have a messy heart and feel things deeply.

Some people can’t keep all their emotions and thoughts bottled up, and they may seem a bit all over the place.

But don’t worry, you’ll find these people, and they’ll become your family.

You’ll take care of each other, and you’ll grow together in the quiet moments when you connect with each other’s souls.

In a world of billions, you’ve found each other, and that’s pretty amazing.

HOPE

@johnny2pencils

I hope you find complete acceptance, the kind that resonates deep in your soul. May it silence the voice inside you that keeps reminding you of your inadequacies or shortcomings. I hope you can forgive yourself for the mistakes you have made and for the memories of the past that you keep holding onto. May you learn to let go of things that you had to do to heal, grow, or survive. Always remember that you are trying your best and that it’s okay to be human.

I hope you find the kind of moments that take your breath away. The kind of moments that change you. I hope you travel to places that cleanse you; I hope you go to concerts that ring through your bones and make you feel alive. I hope you connect with the small things hope you look at someone mid-conversation and you feel your stomach the feelings you have for them. I hope you surround surge with yourself with the kinds of friends who encourage your spontaneity and are always there for you. I hope you live. Truly. I hope you don’t hold back. There is so much to feel in this world. I hope you feel it all.

But above all, my wish for you is to find your true self out there. I hope you discover the depths of your heart, understand your mind completely and learn to be compassionate to yourself. Embrace the journey you are on and cherish every moment of it.

Jesus ⚜️

It’s a common struggle to wonder if we measure up to God’s expectations.

We may have days where we feel confident in our actions and thoughts, and other days where we fall short.

Perhaps we have moments where we don’t take advantage of opportunities to show kindness or love to those around us.

It’s not always easy to avoid making mistakes, whether intentional or not.

Sometimes, we may even fall into bad habits or make excuses for behaviour that we know is wrong.

It’s important to remember that we are all imperfect and prone to making mistakes.

Instead of being hard on ourselves,

let’s take a compassionate approach and examine our behaviour with kindness.

By doing so, we can strive to improve and become the best version of ourselves.

After all, it’s not about being perfect,

but rather about making progress and growing in our faith.

TRUST GOD

βšœοΈπŸ™βšœοΈ
Money can be lost in so many different ways. In the nineteen twenties and early thirties, there was a world-wide depression. Many people lost all of their savings in the stock markets; banks crashed and couldn't give people back their savings; jobs were lost and many lost their homes. There have been times since then when people lost everything, but not quite as widespread as at that time. All can be lost in a storm or if someone had a catastrophic illness that takes all their savings. If we trust in money to save us, we are wrong. God is telling us in this passage from the Book of Psalms that nothing on earth can prevent death. However, we know because of Jesus, that death of the body comes to us all, but that life is not ended for those who believe and follow him. And eternal life is available to both the wealthy and the poor alike. We can't buy love, happiness and we can't buy eternal life. God is the only true source of love and happiness and has gifted us with eternal life, if only we choose to accept it. I have known families that were torn apart over money that they expected when a parent died. The money either wasn't there or wasn't as much as they thought it would be, or it went to someone or something else. The question for us is, "Where do we place our trust?" If we place our trust in money or any other thing, we are bound to be disappointed, but when we place our trust in God, we will never be disappointed, for God will always be there with his love and his care.
