Pray 🤲

“You, my friends, are like living stones built into a spiritual house.

As a holy priesthood, you offer spiritual sacrifices pleasing to God through Jesus Christ.

Let this truth inspire you to live a life of purpose and meaning.”

In today’s verse, Peter describes believers as living stones built together into a spiritual house.

This imagery might seem unusual, but it tells us two essential truths.

First, as building stones, we are each aligned with the cornerstone, Jesus.

And second, we are God’s temple,

His dwelling place and the embodiment of worship in the world.

Dear Lord, I am grateful for being a part of Your church.

I humbly thank You for making Jesus Christ my cornerstone, the foundation upon which I build my life.

I pray that You will continue to work in me, shaping my heart and guiding me to live according to Your will.

May my life reflect the love and grace of Christ, and may I be a source of encouragement and support to my fellow believers.

Please lead me to where You want me to serve so that I may fulfil Your purpose for my life.

I pray all this in the mighty name of Jesus, amen.
