Prayer 🀲

Amen πŸ™Œ

A prayer to remove the blocks in your life:

Dear God

I ask that you gently remove anything which is preventing me from loving myself fully and unconditionally.

That which is preventing me from believing in myself wholeheartedly and consistently, and that which is keeping me from my joy, peace, blessings, and success.

Remove those barriers that I placed

around myself and my blessings in moments of fear, and the blocks that I created

when I pushed down my pain.

Allow me to know and accept my worth and greatness.

I am open and ready for more.

Release anything that’s not built upon love, and do it all through feelings of peace, joy, and love.

Amen!

Amen πŸ™Œ

Monsters

I’m a man, therefore I’m a monster. At least according to a lot of you lately. Over the last several months, I have observed a big rise in misandry. That’s sexism against men, anti-maleness, or β€œman hate”. It has culminated recently with a question to women, β€œWould you rather be lost in the woods with […]

WORDS OF WISDOM ~ AMEN

πŸ•―οΈπŸ™ŒπŸ•―οΈ

The words that we speak are always a reflection of our hearts – the state of our minds. The things that we choose to dwell on will affect the mindset we choose to base our life decisions and actions on. If your mind is focused on the right things, the right things will flow from your mouth. If your mind dwells on negative things that bring no life, dead things will flow from the words that you speak. By “dead things” I mean that no refreshing words will be able to come out of your mouth. You will not be able to edify the people around you.

This is why we need to be mindful of the things we feed our minds. These things will be the things our minds will dwell on and formulate beliefs and convictions. If you feed your mind things that tear down and hurt others, you will end up hurting others yourself. If you feed yourself with godly material, material that gives life, you will end up giving life-giving words to the people that you encounter. It is profitable to be wise and walk in the counsel of the Lord. The words you speak and the advice you give will give life and restoration to those who need it. When your words are based on the Word of God, you will be able to refresh the souls of many.

But if your mind dwells on foolish, unfruitful things like gossip and foul speech, your words will not be profitable for anyone – they won’t even be profitable for yourself. If you let foolishness lead your life, you will find yourself in many terrible situations. Focusing on the wrong things, things that are not godly, will always lead to painful mistakes.

Jesus πŸ’«πŸ™πŸ’₯

Amen πŸ™ŒπŸ™πŸ™Œ

Jesus Christ is the manifestation of the fullness of God’s love for all mankind.

When the world was at its worst, God sent His son, Jesus Christ, to die for our sins and set us free from the bondage of the enemy.

There was no one else who could have done this for us without any ulterior motives.

God simply did this because of His love for us.

We didn’t deserve it.

Humanity was a mess at the time Jesus came to the earth

There was a mixed multitude of people – those who knew God but had chosen to turn their backs on Him, those who did not know God at all, and those who walked around with their noses in the air as they depended on their self-righteousness.

But they all had one thing in common: sin.

There was nothing no man could do to resolve it.

Many had tried to fulfill their law in their power but they could not do it.

All the sacrifices that were done to atone for the sins of the children of Israel were done regularly because they were unable to stop sinning.

Sin had a powerful grip over the people, and it brought out the worst in them. πŸ•―οΈπŸ™ŒπŸ•―οΈ

Honour and Love Amen πŸ™

Honour and Love Amen

Pride goeth before destruction and a haughty spirit before a fall.

Pride goes before the fall.

It is a well-known saying, but do we give it much thought?

It was pride that first brought sin into the world and pride that drives every selfish decision we make when we seek to be God of our own lives.

Even as Christians, if we forget that we are acting in God’s power and try to use our strength, we will be reminded swiftly of our limits and need to rely on Him.

Father, thank You for saving me from my prideful and destructive ways.

Your power and Your grace are all that I need.

Please guard my heart against pride so that all I do may be for Your glory, not my own.

Teach me to lean on Your wisdom and power so I may remain in step with Your Spirit.

In Jesus’ name, amen.

Proverbs 25:28

Amen πŸ™Œ

“A man without self-control is like a city broken into and left without walls.”

Amen

WHAT DOES THIS MEAN FOR ME

A lack of discipline can cause many problems and so much unrest. The ability to say “No” to things that are not good for you and do not honour God

It can save so much heartache.

Yet many times, our flesh’s yearning for short-term gratification beats out our desire for long-term joy.

God does not deny us worldly pleasures to punish us but rather to protect us from the harm and destruction they cause.

To not have self-control is to expose your life to all kinds of temptations and dangers.

Self-control is like a wall against temptation; how else can you protect yourself?

My flesh is strong Lord, but my will to serve you is stronger still.

I have failed and will fail again, but your strength and wisdom guide me to build up my walls of discipline; thank you!

AMEN

Do you know what’s the most essential thing in life? It’s always to be humble and kind. These two qualities can take you places and make you a better person. So, let’s strive to be humble and kind every day!

Lord πŸ’«πŸ’₯πŸ’«πŸ’₯

We sometimes undervalue our abilities and believe we cannot accomplish essential tasks.

However, we often forget that God’s power is limitless, and despite our weaknesses, He selects us to work for Him.

With the assistance of His Spirit, we can achieve the unattainable and bring honour to His name.

The following passage is taken from the book of Ephesians in the Bible.

It’s a verse that offers comfort and encouragement to those who believe in God and trust His power.

The verse reads, “Now to him who can do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to his power at work within us.

” This verse reminds us that God’s power is limitless and that He can do far more than we could ever ask or even imagine.

It also reminds us that God’s power is at work within us, guiding us and helping us through life’s challenges.

Amen πŸ™
