“YOUR WISDOM!” a poem, a.k.a.: “Distress and Upset May Have Their Advantages, As Long As You’re Making Your Own Decisions!” 11 June 2019 [Tuesday]

“You’ve been THROUGH A LOT, and I shall PROTECT-YOU,

From distress and upset – and, of-course, ALL who,

Would take up your time, putting-you-IN-A-TIZZY,

Who ALWAYS -want-you-to-hurry, keeping-you-quite-dizzy!

I AM YOUR SAVIOR, and I have YOUR-BEST plan,

So you will-be: A STA-BI-LIZED MAN!”

These words? from-The-Marquis-de-Sade to-his-“friend?”

Who SOON-was-in-prison – and-soon-met-his-“end!”

THE POINT IS: to-watch those -people-who’ll-protect,

Your interests-and-person, for-they-often-in-fect,

YOUR life, your finances, your time – EV-ERYTHING,

For: THEY-HAVE-A-MISSION: to force you TO SING,

A sweet song of “something,” as-they work-under-cover,”

And, sometimes, it-turns-out THEY’RE EVEN-YOUR-LOVER!

The-people-you-better-watch-[out]-for: ARE USUALLY-YOUR-“FRIENDS,”

Who-will-gain-a-YOUR-confidence, but-won’t-make-amends,

After they-squander YOUR life and YOUR time!

TRUST IN YOURSELF – TO-COMPLETE A GOOD RHYME!

Trust YOUR intuitions – YOUR-insight-and-“hunch;”

Trust in YOUR WISDOM!

Trust it – a bunch!
