A 23-year-old Sudanese national is expected to appear before Reading Magistrates later today charged with entering the UK illegally.

He was detained by NCA investigators in Hayes, west London, on Wednesday 1 May. The investigation into the incident continues.

Officers from the National Crime Agency have arrested a further man over a Channel boat crossing which resulted in the deaths of five people on a French beach.

AceBreakingNews – UPDATE – A man arrested by National Crime Agency officers yesterday in connection with a Channel boat crossing which resulted in the deaths of five people on a French beach has been charged.

The 23-year-old Sudanese national was arrested on suspicion of assisting illegal immigration and entering the UK illegally at a location in the Hayes area of west London this morning, Wednesday 1 May.

NCA investigators will now interview him.

The NCA continues to work with partners to support the French investigation into the fatalities which happened at the coast near Wimereux, north of Boulogne-sur-Mer, on 23 April. One of those who died was a 7-year-old girl.

More than 50 people who were on board the boat, which arrived in UK waters later that day, have now been interviewed.

Two people who can’t be named for legal reasons have already been charged with immigration offences, while a third remains on bail as investigations continue.

It is profitable to be wise and walk in the counsel of the Lord. The words you speak and the advice you give will give life and restoration to those who need it. When your words are based on the Word of God, you will be able to refresh the souls of many.

But if your mind dwells on foolish, unfruitful things like gossip and foul speech, your words will not be profitable for anyone – they won’t even be profitable for yourself. If you let foolishness lead your life, you will find yourself in many terrible situations. Focusing on the wrong things, things that are not godly, will always lead to painful mistakes.💯
