The train ride to no where in life ~ I read this verse sometime past ~ it still resonates with my life 💥

To be put on the train and kissed and given my ticket,
Then the station slid backward, the shops and the neon lighting,
Reeling off in a drunken blur, with a whole pound note in my pocket
And the holiday packed with Perhaps. It used to be very exciting.

The present and past were enough. I did not mind having my back
To the engine. I sat like a spider and spun
Time backward out of my guts – or rather my eyes – and the track
Was a Now dwindling off to oblivion. I thought it was fun:

The telegraph poles slithered up in a sudden crescendo
As we sliced the hill and scattered its grazing sheep;
The days were a wheeling delirium that led without end to
Nights when we plunged into roaring tunnels of sleep.

But now I am tired of the train. I have learned that one tree
Is much like another, one hill the dead spit of the next
I have seen tailing off behind all the various types of country
Like a clock running down. I am bored and a little perplexed;

And weak with the effort of endless evacuation
Of the long monotonous Now, the repetitive, tidy
Officialdom of each siding, of each little station
Labelled Monday, Tuesday – and goodness ! what happened to – Friday ?

And the maddening way the other passengers alter:
The schoolgirl who goes to the Ladies’ comes back to her seat
A lollipop blonde who leads you on to assault her,
And you’ve just got her skirts round her waist and her pants round her feet

When you find yourself fumbling about the nightmare knees
Of a pink hippopotamus with a permanent wave
Who sends you for sandwiches and a couple of teas,
But by then she has whiskers, no teeth and one foot in the grave.

I have lost my faith that the ticket tells where we are going.
There are rumours the driver is mad – we are all being trucked
To the abattoirs somewhere – the signals are jammed and unknowing
We aim through the night full speed at a wrecked viaduct.

But I do not believe them. The future is rumour and drivel;
Only the past is assured. From the observation car
I stand looking back and watching the landscape shrivel,
Wondering where we are going and just where the hell we are,

Remembering how I planned to break the journey, to drive
My own car one day, to have choice in my hands and my foot upon power,
To see through the trumpet throat of vertiginous perspective
My urgent Now explode continually into flower,

To be the Eater of Time, a poet and not that sly
Anus of mind the historian. It was so simple and plain
To live by the sole, insatiable influx of the eye.
But something went wrong with the plan: I am still on the train.

UNDERSTAND THIS PLEASE… “Before mass leaders seize the power to fit reality to their lies, their propaganda is marked by its extreme contempt for facts as such, for in their opinion fact depends entirely on the power of man who can fabricate it.” ― Hannah Arendt

“THE-A (REALLY) HAPPY SINGERS, YOU-KNOW ~ MYSTIC POET 💥💥

“THE-A (REALLY) HAPPY SINGERS, YOU-KNOW” a poem 04/04/2019 (Thursday!) Tonight is “karaoke time” at Ole Crystal Bar, here in beautiful, downtown Alpine, TX.

Happiness-for-me-is-really (pause) just-really-what-it’s-all-about!
I-don’t-even-really-care – about-folks DETERMINED-to-wanna-pout!
I love them just the same, but they might-a-wanna-know:
[that] WITH FUNKY, HAPPY PEOPLE – I’D REALLY RATHER “GO!”

Of course, sometimes THAT option – is NOT upon “The Table,”
But-I-can-at-least-seek-out-some-happiness-anyway – you-know! as-I’m-able!

And, if you’re really feeling mean most-of-the-time – Well, that’s-fine;
If you want-to call me names, well (pause) HOW DI – VINE!

But-just-a-please-a-know-a: I’m-really-not-adverse –
To-sharing-a-little-pleasant -within-a-happy-verse,
With someone kind-a “kind,” who-has-a-pleasant, happy smile,
Who sings a happy, little song mostly all the while!

And, well, you-might-consider, IF WE’RE “STUCK” HERE ANYWAY:
“It’s-a kinda-sorta-OK place – mostly! throughout-the-day!”
So, you might-as-well-a-smile – and-give-[someone]-a-hug-or-a-happy-wave!
Of course!!! IF-it-makes-YOU-happy, you-can-just-get-mad-and-rave,
For, perhaps, sometimes (you-know) that-might-be-“appropriate” to-do;
Yet, I’m-really NOT suggesting (pause) doing-THAT for-you!

BUT! HAPPY IS – AS HAPPY DOES,
And “Different Strokes”* seems-valid, because,
There’s SUCH AMAZING DIVERSITY (pause) lurking here and there,
WHO KNOWS WHAT IS, WHAT IS, IT IS – AND-REALLY ISN’T FAIR!?

Men you can’t live with them or without them 😁😂😃🤣😊

What’s money? A man is a success if he gets up in the morning and goes to bed at night and in between does what he wants to do.😄😁😃🤣

As hilarious as this appears, it’s freaky that there are people who actually believe this nonsense.😁😄😂😃🤣😊

    EDITOR’S COMMENTS 😁😂😃🤣😊

Dan Moody posted this on Facebook today perhaps trying to share stupid stuff that gets all kinds of racist comments or sex gender debate raging. Keep reading what this Tea lady Editor said. 😁😄😂😃🤣😊

    Don said:
There are many worse things we could be in this world than a blind, bisexual goose.

    ME replied:
Dan Moody many years ago on a flooded river we rescued a Blind Male Goose. He had huge feet, blind and knowing that the geese live in families for around 100 years there was more out there but not one survived. The guys were rescuing drowning sheep from the Murray-Darling River. This huge goose needed to be helped. He needed medical care and a Vet came the next day, we had the goose wrapped in thermal paper with oxygen. After checked this poor guy out the vet said he was around 60 to 70 years old. Being out in the bush we advertised for an owner, two weeks later the Police found the owner. What had happened the Gaggle 6 in all were swept away in the floods. The Husband and wife arrived excited and by golly Mr Goose heard their car come up the drive and screamed. Oh! my. We were all crying 7 men and 10 women whilst watching huge blind Mr Goose ran into the arms and hugged his family. I swear he had tears in his eyes. I slept with Mr Goose on the bed to keep him alive. Hand feeding with a syringe to give him water. Nearly killed me with exhaustion 24/7. He was fretting to death, as the vet said he would. Well Mr Goose all the time I spent on him was fake. He was a big baby male. Lol
He was a wedding gift 45 years previous being 22 years of age. 67 years old Mr Goose used to have episodes of EGO tantrums and of course he was a fake ARTIST like most males. Lol 😁 Every Bird had a different page honey 😁 sad ending was he went back to his own home with all geese deceased.😢 about 10 years later we read he never remarried as many geese on marry for life. Mary, his wife went to heaven 😢 Mr. GOOSE LIVED IN THE HOUSE while he ignored all the new geese. What a Hero 💙

    ME replied with afterthought:😁

Dan Moody sorry about that what was the post about anyway honey🤣😂😊

Well you ask what was Dan’s reply

    😊🤣 HE BLOCKED ME AGAIN.😀😢🤣

As hilarious as this appears, it’s freaky that there are people who actually believe this nonsense.

Made up the story to make Dan mad at me talking off the cuff lol 💥🤣

Know your history: America ~ J Jay SAMUEL DAVIS

    Know your history:
This is Jim Thorpe. Look closely at the photo, you can see that he’s wearing different socks and shoes. This wasn’t a fashion statement. It was the 1912 Olympics, and Jim, an American Indian from Oklahoma represented the U.S. in track and field. On the morning of his competitions, his shoes were stolen. Luckily, Jim ended up finding two shoes in a garbage can. That’s the pair that he’s wearing in the photo. But one of the shoes was too big, so he had to wear an extra sock. Wearing these shoes, Jim won two gold medals that day. This is a perfect reminder that you don’t have to resign to the excuses that have held you back. So what if life hasn’t been fair? What are you going to do about it today? Whatever you woke up with this morning; stolen shoes, ill health, failed relationships, failed business, don’t let it stop you from running your race. You can experience more in life if you’ll get over the excuses and get on with living. You can have reasons or you can have results…but you can’t have both.

Home Remedies to Control Hair Fall 💥💥

Home Remedies to Control Hair Fall

The Ayurvedic treatment for hair loss includes regulation of diet, medicated massaging and application of herbs. A balanced diet has always been emphasised when providing a remedy for the condition. This would involve giving up alcohol and smoking or any other addictive substances. Ayurvedic treatment involves :

Diet – White sesame seeds, yogurt, buttermilk, whole grains, sprouts, milk and green leafy vegetables are some healthy nutrients that should form part of your diet.

Massaging – Rubbing the soles of your feet and the scalp with almond oil or coconut oil and using vitamin E rich oil for massaging has great benefits in controlling hair fall. Also, you can follow other home remedies to prevent or reduce hair fall.

Ayurvedic herbs – Rinse your hair with apple cider vinegar and apply sage tea on it. Massage your head with a mix of liquorice extract, horsetail extract, stinging nettle, rosemary and birch for stimulation of hair re-growth.

Specialized Ayurvedic treatments – You can contact an Ayurvedic practitioner for some specialised therapy for hair loss and stress. Shirodhara or draining medicated oil on the forehead is one such procedure.

    Aloe Vera for Hair Fall
If you are wondering how to control hair fall, aloe vera is your answer. Aloe vera gel is considered an effective remedy to fight all hair woes. You can apply pure aloe vera gel direct on the scalp. Alcohol balances the pH level and prevents hair from breakage, especially if hair fall is caused due to irritation, dry and infected scalp. Massage your scalp with aloe vera gel and leave for few hours before washing it with lukewarm water.

    Neem Treatment for Hair
Neem is used as a remedy for many health-related problems due to its medicinal properties. Its astringent property helps reduce dandruff which can be useful for hair fall control.

Treat Wet Hair Gently to Control Hair Loss
You must avoid rubbing or combing wet hair. Hair is more prone to breakage when wet. This can result in a massive hair loss, and you could see a big clump in your brush.

Eat Eggs for Hair Fall Control
Hair is primarily made up of proteins which can be found in abundance in eggs. If you want to know how to control hair loss, it is essential to learn that protein-based foods, like eggs, boost hair growth significantly. Besides this, eggs contain biotin and B vitamins which can prevent hair loss.

    Eat Salmon For Healthy Hair
Eating salmon has numerous health benefits for your brain, blood vessels, skin, and hair. A storehouse of omega-3 fatty acids, regular consumption of salmon can boost hair growth, and its other constituents like vitamin B12 prevent hair loss and solve hair woes like dry hair.

    Beans Can Help
Beans are a rich source of protein, fiber, B vitamins, vitamin C, zinc, and minerals. All these nutrients play an important role in hair growth. Also, beans contain the right amount of iron which can prevent hair loss.

    Eat more Sunflower Seeds
Sunflower seeds can be another rich source of all hair loss preventing vital nutrients like protein, zinc, selenium, biotin, potassium, copper, iron, B vitamins, vitamin E, magnesium, and calcium.

    Munch on Nuts
Eating nuts regularly can keep your hair healthy for many ages. Nuts contain healthy fats and phytochemicals that are needed for fighting hair loss problems.

    Go Green with Spinach
If you want to control hair loss, spinach is the key. It contains a good amount of nutrients and antioxidants that can boost hair growth and fight all your hair woes.

    Oats Breakfast
The body must have sufficient nutrients like zinc, protein, and copper to prevent hair loss. Your one-stop solution for having all these nutrients can be eating a bowl of oatmeal in breakfast every day.

    Have Carrots
Carrots contain beta-carotene that can promote healthy hair and vitamin A that helps produce healthy sebum for the scalp.

    Eat Sweet Potatoes
Regular consumption of sweet potatoes can fight problems like hair loss effectively. It contains beta-carotene which converts to vitamin A in the body.

Natural Remedies for Dry, Itchy Skin 💥💥

Natural Remedies for Dry, Itchy Skin

    1. Baking Soda Bath
Soaking in a bath of baking soda for 30-60 minutes can make all the difference. Add one cup baking soda to a tub of warm water. After the bath, it is important to gently pat your skin dry with a towel (or air-dry). For more localized itching you can make a paste of 1 part water to 3 parts baking soda.

    2. Oatmeal
Mixing oatmeal in water and spreading it on irritated skin can also be cooling and soothing. Add 2 cups of colloidal oatmeal to a lukewarm bath and soak to soothe itchy skin. Avoid using very hot water, as it can irritate the skin and cause it to itch more.

    3. Cold Water
Because cold and itch travel along the same nerve fibers, the use of cold can “jam the circuits” and deaden itch. Cool showers or baths or even ice packs can be an instant remedy for itchy skin. Again, hot water feels good temporarily, but it often leaves you feeling itchier later.

    4. Apple Cider Vinegar
If you have a small patch of dry, itchy skin, dot vinegar on the spot with a cotton ball. If you’re experiencing all-over itching and dryness, add two or three cups of vinegar to your bath water and soak for 15 to 30 minutes.

    5. Milk and Honey
Pour some milk into a bowl, dip a clean white washcloth into the milk and apply it to the dry itchy skin patch for 5 minutes. Milk has anti-inflammatory properties that often remove the itch from dry skin. Milk is very soothing to inflamed, dry, itchy skin. A milk bath once in a month can also help.

OR Lightly heat 2 teaspoons of honey and apply it to skin while warm. Leave it on for 15 minutes, and then wash it off. Honey helps lock in moisture, has antioxidant and anti-microbial properties, which is why it’s found in so many over-the-counter skincare products.

    6. Essential Oils
There are many good essential oils with anti-inflammatory and soothing properties that have the ability to give relief to itchy skin and alleviate irritations. (I’ve been using LOTS of Lavender lately!) You can add them to your bath water or apply directly on your skin. Just make sure to follow the dosage recommendations exactly as directed on the package.

The following are some of the best essential oils for itchy skin: Agrimony oil, Basil oil, Bay leaf oil, Calendula oil, Chamomile oil, Chickweed oil, Clove oil, Geranium oil, Jewelweed oil, Lavender oil, Neem oil, Nettle oil, Peppermint oil, Rosemary oil, Thyme oil

    7. Oil Therapy
Rub on some olive, almond or sesame oil and massage lightly on to your hands, legs and the rest of your body before heading for a shower. If time permits, heat the oil and then apply. Post shower, use a light moisturizer/sunscreen, because winter sun isn’t any less harsh.

    8. Coconut Oil
The driest of the dry winter skin usually occurs on the heels, hands and elbows. Use coconut oil to spot-treat these areas overnight, and you should see significant improvement in the morning. Soak in a lukewarm bath until your fingers shrivel, this indicates that the skin is full hydrated. Pat skin dry, but leave slightly damp. Put a thick layer of coconut oil on heels, hands and elbows, covering the greased areas with socks, gloves and long sleeved pajama top, and go to bed. You should have a restful itch-free night of sleep and improved skin in the morning.

    9. Lemon Juice
Lemon juice can be directly applied on itchy skin to relieve the irritation. You may want to avoid this one if you have been scratching a lot.

    10. Coconut Milk
Coconut milk not only reduces skin dryness, but also helps combat dark spots and blemishes. Rub it onto your face and body, and leave it overnight.

    11. Dried Fruits
A diet rich in Vitamin A, B and E is also a dry skin remedy as deficiency of these vitamins lead to dry skin. Dry fruits help to retain moisture in the skin. Consuming dry fruits regularly can help in treating extremely dry skin.
