A kind elephant and a dog became pregnant around the same time. Three months later, the dog gave birth to six puppies. Six months after that, the dog was pregnant again, and nine months later, it gave birth to another dozen puppies. This pattern continued.
After eighteen months, the dog approached the elephant and asked, “Are you sure you are pregnant? We became pregnant on the same day. I have given birth three times to a dozen puppies, and they are now grown into big dogs, yet you are still pregnant. What’s going on?”
The elephant replied, “What I carry is not just a puppy but an elephant. I only give birth to one every two years. When my baby hits the ground, the earth feels it. When my baby crosses the road, people stop and watch in admiration. What I carry is mighty and great.”
Do not lose faith when you see others receiving answers to their prayers. Don’t envy their testimonies. If you haven’t received your own blessings yet, don’t despair. Remind yourself, “My time is coming, and when it arrives, people will yield in admiration.”
