Water And Sunhine ~

“GARDEN CLEAN-UP!” a poem August 17, 2019 (Saturday Morning!)

I just stopped! to get some needed water, My Love!

WATER & SUNSHINE, and I’m dreaming of:

YOU! with wind and rain, which-of-course is-my-“sweat!”

They’ll be almost as sweet as you, I’m willing to bet,

When I’m safe in your arms, once again,

And you satisfy my-EVERY NEEDFUL-YEN!

During this morning’s “lawn activities,” a pencil scribbled poem was found on the back of an old wooden plank! It is entitled: “M I M M Y!” written: ?

I don’t know IF-you’ll remember me, My-Dear,

I fell in love with you last year!

At first, I lost my heart and mind,

And then (also) my soul, I think you’ll find!

Now, I-write songs and poems for you,

And-I act quite stupid – and-drunk, I do!

And-I forgot my name – and what-I-might-do,

Because I ALWAYS THINK OF YOU! 🙂
