#AceBreakingNews – Recruitment or temporary employment of domestic help is only allowed if a relevant license from MoHRE is obtained

File photo
The Federal Decree-Law No. (9) of 2022 regarding domestic workers will come into force as of December 15, 2022, said the Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratisation on Wednesday.

The decree-law establishes a comprehensive framework to strengthen and regulate labour relations for the recruitment and employment of the domestic workers in the UAE and defines the responsibilities of the parties to the relationship in a way that safeguards their rights and duties. It also stipulates providing an appropriate work environment for the domestic workers in accordance with the national legislation and international agreements in force in the UAE.

According to the new law, recruitment or temporary employment of domestic workers is only allowed if a relevant license from the Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratisation (MoHRE) is obtained.

Recruitment or employment of a domestic worker under the age of 18 years is strictly prohibited, according to the law, which also permits the employer to refuse to employ a domestic worker if the recruitment agency had violated the terms agreed upon in the contract.

The decree-law stipulates that the domestic worker must not be recruited from their country unless they are informed of the nature of the work, salary and other benefits. Evidence of their fitness, health conditions, psychological and occupational status should also be made available prior to employment.

The employment contract shall be formalised based on the format approved by the Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratisation, specifying the conditions related to the recruitment of the domestic worker. This should include the specified period of recruitment as well as the basic rights and obligations that the employer shall be committed to in terms of the domestic worker’s type of work and salary.

The contract should also specify the relevant financial obligations of the employer to bring the worker from their country to the UAE as well as the recruitment agency fees.

In the event of violations of conditions by the recruitment agency, the decree-law stipulates that an alternative worker should be provided, or a refund of the recruitment fees should be made to the employer who would be, in this situation, entitled to ask the agency for a compensation for any potential damages due to breach of contract.

The recruitment agencies are also prohibited, whether directly or through third parties, from charging any commissions or collecting any fees for the worker’s employment.

The recruitment agencies are obliged by law to treat the domestic worker in a humane manner, without exposing them to violence, and to make them aware of the culture and traditions of the UAE society, and to inform them about the relevant authorities to voice any complains or concerns about their rights and freedom, in addition to providing appropriate accommodation in accordance with the rules and regulations governing labour accommodations in the country.

The decree-law also specifies the obligations of the employer toward the domestic worker, including providing appropriate accommodation, a food and clothing to perform their duties as long as they work for the employer on a full-time basis not temporarily, unless otherwise agreed.

The employer must also treat the domestic worker properly, preserving their dignity and physical integrity, and pay their salary based on the agreed employment contract, the provisions of the decree-law and the resolutions issued by the Ministry, besides bearing the costs of any medical treatment for the worker, or providing health insurance in accordance with the applicable legislations.

The law prohibits the employer to recruit any domestic worker, unless they are licensed to work and not employing them for others, or with a profession different from the nature of the work defined, except with their consent and provided that it is one of the professions mentioned in the executive regulations of the decree-law.

The decree-law grants the domestic worker the right to keep their personal identification documents. It also stipulates the conditions and guidelines to grant the heirs of the domestic worker who dies during service in the UAE, along with the salary for the month in which they passed away besides paying any other applicable dues.

As for the obligations of the domestic worker, the worker must perform the work as per the guidance and supervision of the employer and in accordance with the employment contract.

They must provide the necessary care and not interrupt work without an acceptable excuse, in addition to considering the culture and traditions of the UAE society and adhering to public decency and the instructions of the employer in implementing the work agreed upon, unless it is in violation of the contract, the law, public morals, or it exposes them to danger or legal accountability.

The domestic worker must also respect the privacy of the workplace, preserve the employer’s property, work tools, and everything in their custody, and not use them outside work without the employer’s approval, and not work except under a work permit issued to them by the Ministry and in accordance with the applicable conditions.

If the domestic worker wishes to travel to their country for annual leave, the employer shall bear the value of the round-trip fare once every two years. If the two parties agree to terminate or not renew the work contract after the annual leave, the employer shall bear a one-way ticket only for the domestic worker to their home country.

According to the law, in the event of a dispute between the employer and the domestic worker and the inability to settle it amicably, it must be referred to the Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratisation, which has the right to take whatever steps it deems appropriate to settle the dispute amicably in accordance with procedures stipulated in executive regulations of the decree-law.

If an amicable settlement is not possible within the specified period, the dispute shall be referred to the relevant court. The law grants the domestic worker the right to work for a new employer, provided that all contractual requirements are met, and the rights of the original employer are taken into account and in accordance with the conditions and procedures in force in the Ministry.

The employer is not obligated to pay the expenses of the worker’s return to their country if the worker joins another job, in accordance with the provisions of this decree-law and its executive regulations.

#AceBreakingNews – NSW Health urges people to throw out Riviera Farms spinach from Costco after nine people across Sydney hospitalised

Spinach is on display at a shop of a food market in Vienna, Austria, April 19, 2016.
Multiple people have been hospitalised across four different households. (Reuters: Leonhard Foeger)none

At least nine people from four separate households across Sydney have needed medical attention after eating packaged fresh spinach, believed to be accidentally contaminated, according to New South Wales Health.

People are being urged to throw out any packets of Riviera Farms-brand spinach, sold through retailer Costco, with an expiry date of December 16 this year.

NSW Health said the product was “not safe to consume and people who have it should throw it out”.

It has urged anyone who has experienced any unusual and severe symptoms after eating the spinach to seek immediate medical attention by visiting their nearest emergency department due to toxic reactions.

State health authorities said some of the reported symptoms have been severe and include “hallucinations, delirium, rapid heartbeat and blurred vision”.

A Riviera Farms spokesperson said the product may have been “contaminated with a weed which can have health consequences if consumed”.

“As soon as we were advised of the possible weed contamination from one of our customers, we immediately advised them to remove our impacted spinach from their shelves, and contacted state health and federal food authorities,” the spokesperson said.

“There is no suggestion, and to our knowledge no possibility, that any other products have been impacted by this weed.

“Riviera Farms has been in the business of providing fresh food since the 1880s, and we are saddened to confirm that we have likely had our first-ever significant contamination incident.”

NSW Health said it does not yet know the full extent of the product’s distribution and is working with the NSW Food Authority, as well as other jurisdictions, to investigate the contamination further.

Riviera Farms’ head office is based in Victoria.

PRESS RELEASE GOV U.K UPDATE REPORT: Cold Weather ALERT issued by UKHSA

This is our daily post that is shared across Twitter & Telegram and published first on here with Kindness & Love XX on peace-truth.com/

#AceNewsRoom in Kindness & Wisdom provides News & Views @acebreakingnews

Ace Press News From Cutting Room Floor: Published: Dec.15: 2022:

#AceBreakingNews – Regular updates on cold weather and how to stay well during low temperatures as UKHSA extends cold weather alert in all regions of England

Further to the cold weather alert issued on 9 December, the UK Health Security Agency (UKHSA) is continuing to encourage people to stay warm and look out for those most at risk as freezing conditions persist across the country.

The Met Office is warning that all regions of England will continue to experience cold weather from 9am on Wednesday 14 December to midday on Sunday 18 December.

Dr Agostinho Sousa, Head of Extreme Events and Health Protection at UKHSA, said:

As this period of cold weather persists throughout the rest of the week, it is important to check in on the wellbeing of those most vulnerable to the cold, including those over the age of 65 and those with pre-existing medical conditions.

Try to heat the rooms you use the most to at least 18Β°C if you can and keep your bedroom window shut at night.

Paul Gundersen, a Chief Forecaster at the Met Office, said:

Over the last week, the UK has been in a northerly airflow bringing cold, sometimes Arctic air, to the UK.

We will still have this northerly influence to our weather patterns until the weekend, but then the cold conditions will lose exclusive dominance over the UK’s weather and we will move into a more changeable regime with relatively mild and relatively cold conditions vying for supremacy.

Previous: 9 December 2022: UKHSA extends cold weather alert in all regions of England

Further to the cold weather alert issued on 5 December, the UK Health Security Agency (UKHSA) is again encouraging people to stay warm and look out for those most at risk as freezing conditions persist across the country.

The Met Office is warning that all regions of England will continue to experience cold weather from 9am on Friday 9 December to 9am on Friday 16 December.

Steve Willington, Chief Meteorologist at the Met Office, said:

It is staying cold with daytime temperatures remaining only a few degrees above freezing in many places over the coming days and overnight temperatures dropping to -10Β°C or lower in isolated spots. Although below average, these temperatures are not that unusual for this time of year.

There is still a risk we could see some freezing fog in places particularly southern England, especially for Sunday and Monday mornings. And there is also a small risk of a band of sleet or snow moving into the far south-east on Sunday. If this happens it could potentially bring some disruption, especially to rush hour on Monday. A warning has been issued.

5 December 2022: UKHSA issues cold weather alert for England

With low temperatures and potentially severe overnight frosts forecast across all parts of England from Wednesday, the UK Health Security Agency (UKHSA) is encouraging people to stay warm and look out for those most at risk from the effects of cold weather.

The Met Office and UKHSA are warning that all regions of England will experience severe cold weather starting on the evening of Wednesday 7 December.

Dr Agostinho Sousa, Consultant in Public Health Medicine at UKHSA, said:

Cold weather can have serious consequences for health, and older people and those with heart or lung conditions can be particularly at risk.

If you have a pre-existing medical condition, you should heat your home to a temperature that is comfortable for you. Try to heat the rooms you use most, such as the living and bedroom, to at least 18Β°C if you can and keep your bedroom windows closed at night.

Temperatures will start to dip this week, with daytime temperatures struggling to get above freezing in many places from mid-week onwards. However, the cold air from the Arctic will also bring brighter conditions, with some dry, sunny spells in many areas, particularly away from the coast.

Met Office Deputy Chief Meteorologist, Rebekah Sherwin, said:

UKHSA has supplemented the cold weather plan for England with useful resources and advice on the risks of cold weather and tips for staying warm and well this winter.

For people struggling to afford heating bills, Simple Energy Adviceprovides free advice on energy efficiency and national grants that are available to help keep you warm this winter.

If people can’t heat all the rooms they use, it’s important to heat the living room during the day and the bedroom just before going to sleep. Wearing several layers of thinner clothing will keep you warmer than one thicker layer. Having plenty of hot food and drinks is also effective for keeping warm.

A Spanish court on Tuesday acquitted Brazil soccer star Neymar and other defendants in a fraud and corruption case over his 2013 transfer to Barcelona from Santos after prosecutors had dropped all charges in the high-profile trial, the court said in a statement.

The suit had been brought by Brazilian investment firm DIS, the owner of 40 per cent of the rights to Neymar when he was at Santos. He now plays for Paris Saint-Germain.

DIS argued it had lost out on a cut from the transfer because its true value was understated and sought a five-year jail term for Neymar and a total fine of 149 million euros ($157 million) for the defendants.

In October, prosecutor Luis Garcia Canton asked the Barcelona court to acquit all defendants as there was “not the slightest hint of a crime”.

FEATURED SPECIAL OPINION CHINA REPORT: The World’s First Technate – Part One

This is our daily post that is shared across Twitter & Telegram and published first on here with Kindness & Love XX on peace-truth.com/

#AceNewsRoom in Kindness & Wisdom provides News & Views @acenewsservices

Ace Press News From Cutting Room Floor: Published: Dec.14: 2022:

#AceNewsDesk – China: The World’s First Technate – Part 1 – We are being rapidly transitioned into a new system of centralised, authoritarian global governance. This system is designed to be a technocracy, and, as such, it is truly totalitarian.

Totalitarianism is a form of government that attempts to assert total control over the lives of its citizens. It is characterized by strong central rule that attempts to control and direct all aspects of citizens’ lives through coercion and repression. It does not permit individual freedom. Traditional social institutions and organizations are discouraged and suppressed. As a result, citizens succumb to being merged into a single unified movement. Totalitarian states typically pursue a special goal to the exclusion of all other goals. They direct all resources toward the attainment of that goal, regardless of the cost.

In the case of today’s totalitarian system, technocracy, that β€œspecial” goal is called β€œsustainable development.” In the pursuit of that goal, no cost, either financial or humanitarian, is too great.

Technocrats insist that sustainable development is the way we can successfully tackle the alleged β€œclimate crisis” facing our planet. In reality, their charge that humans are causing climate change is simply an excuse for implementing sustainable development. It is through the technocrats’ global policy commitment to 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) that technocracy is being installed.

A technocratic society is referred to as a β€œTechnate.” In this two-part article, we will explore the world’s first Technate: China. We will look at how this system was constructed in China, who was behind it, and why technocracy is now being foisted upon all of humanity.

Global Technocratic Governance

In order for technocrats to roll out their vision of a global technocracy, they need to be in control of everything at the global level. In other words, authority has to be consolidated and centralized at the top of the pyramid of power. To achieve this goal, most of the world’s governments and intergovernmental organisations and multinational corporations have collaborated to form a global public-private partnership  (G3P).

The G3P network has been knit together throughout the 20th and 21st centuries for the purpose of constructing a single system of global governance. For it is only through global governance that technocrats can distribute their influence worldwide. They count on the top government officials of each nation-state to convert their 17 SDGs into national policy commitments.

Many components of global technocratic governance have already been established.

For instance:

β€” The World Health Organisation (WHO) now delivers global governance of public health.

β€” TheΒ World Intellectual Property OrganizationΒ (WIPO) metes out global access to technological development.

β€” The Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD) coordinates economic policies between nation-states.

β€” The World Trade Organisation (WTO) monitors and controls global trade through the international agreements it oversees.

β€” The Bank For International Settlements (BIS) coordinates global monetary policy and the flow of capital.

β€” The United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) steers the direction of education, academia, the sciences and cultural development.

β€” Other UN bodies are responsible for the seizure of the global commons and the β€œfinancialisation” of natureβ€”through natural asset companies and other mechanisms. These goals are nearing completion.

The 17 SDGs are primarily controlled by the UN Development Programme and the UN Environment Programmeβ€”UNDP and UNEP, respectively.

Meanwhile, the necessary global scientific consensus on climate change is centrally administeredβ€”and the appropriate research funding streams allocatedβ€”by the UN’s Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC).

The powerful individuals who are pushing the G3P project forward include a motley crew of mass polluters, robber barons, land grabbers and the world’s leading exponents of worker exploitation, market manipulation, monetary extortion (usury) and oppression. They form what would otherwise be considered a criminal cartel, but they have greenwashed their reputations through their publicly proclaimed commitment to so-called β€œsustainable development.”

Though often referred to as β€œthe elite,” a more fitting description of this collection of thieves is β€œthe parasite class.”

The G3P has managed to convince billions of citizens around the world that it is committed to sustainable, β€œnet zero” environmentalism and that its foremost desire is to β€œsave the planet.”

In truth, though, the G3P is all about empowering global governance and enforcing technocracy upon humanity through the SDGs and associated policy agendas.

Regardless of what you think about the causes of climate change or the level of risk climate change presents, SDGs do nothing to address it. Rather, they are designed to serve only the G3P partners and their selfish interests.

In order to requisition, commodify, audit and ultimately divide up the Earth’s resources among themselves, the stakeholder capitalists who are at the heart of the G3P also need technocratic control of humans everywhere. Thus, even when the bulk of humanity finally figures out what has happened, technocracy will enable the G3P to shut down all resistance through literal population control.

Under this control, every human being will be individually monitored by Artificial Intelligence (AI) networks that will punish or reward them, depending upon their behaviour.

β€œHow will the G3P get away with taking away human rights worldwide?” you may ask. The justifications for our enslavement have already been set in place: Biosecurity risks and environmental devastation that will result if we don’t obey our global overlords are the two main excuses. We have already seen these two excuses used in the pseudopandemic and the fake climate scare.

Much like the quack pseudo-science of eugenics, which many G3P β€œthought leaders” seem to believe, Technocracy, Inc., a movement spawned in the early 1900s, was the social science certainty of its day. Although it subsequently faded from public consciousness, technocracy, like eugenics, it is still avidly pursued by the G3P’s hierarchy. Most people don’t recognize technocracy in their lives because it has been purposely compartamentalisedβ€”that is, kept out of sight.

Technocracy

In 1911, Frederick Winslow Taylor, who was arguably the world’s first management consultant, published The Principles of Scientific Management.

Taylor’s work came at the culmination of the Progressive Era in the United States. This was a period marked by political activism of the middle class, who sought to address the underlying social problems, as they saw them, of excessive industrialisation, immigration and political corruption. β€œTaylorism,” fixated on the imminent exhaustion of natural resources and advocating efficient β€œscientific management systems,” was in the spirit of the age.

Taylor wrote:

In the past the man has been first; in the future the system must be first. [. . .] The best management is a true science, resting upon clearly defined laws, rules, and principles. [. . . ] The fundamental principles of scientific management are applicable to all kinds of human activities, from our simplest individual acts to the work of our great corporations.

Taylorism advocated science-driven efficiency reforms across society. An efficient system should not be run by politicians or religious leaders but by β€œexperts,” such as engineers, scientists, logistical experts, economists and other academics. The focus, according to Taylorism, should always be on systemic efficiency and the proper use of precious resources, including labour.

Thorstein Veblen

Though Taylor was influenced by Social Darwinism, he was not a eugenicist. However, his ideas were adopted by eugenicists, for they β€œfitted” with eugenicists’ belief in their unassailable right to rule.

Just as eugenicistsβ€”who are inherently technocratsβ€”could optimise and control the human population, so could they employ experts to make socioeconomic and industrial systems more efficient. They could promote these systems as beneficial to β€œthe public good” while at the same time consolidating their own power and reaping a greater financial harvest from a more efficient industrialised society.

Taylor’s principles of scientific management chimed with the theories of economist and sociologist Thorstein Veblen. The latter proposed that economic activity wasn’t just a function of supply and demand, utility, value and so forth, but that economic activity also evolved with society and was thus shaped by psychological, sociological and anthropological influences.

Both Taylor and Veblen focused upon improving the efficiency of industrial and manufacturing processes. But they also recognised that their theories could be extended to the wider social context. Not surprisingly, it was the more expansive application of their ideas that beguiled the parasite class.

Veblen famously spoke of β€œconspicuous consumption”—a description of how the affluent displayed their social standing through their ability to engage in pursuits and buy items that were essentially purposeless and wasteful. This β€œconspicuous leisure” and β€œconsumption” cascaded down through the class structure, as those aspiring to signal their own status emulated the wealthy.

He argued that this excess was a major contributor to unacceptable resource waste and inefficiency. A consumer society, he thought, ultimately produced more goods and services than it needed simply to meet the artificial demand created by extravagant social climbers.

In short, Veblen was strongly opposed to this inefficient use of resources, which he blamed on the β€œbusiness classes” and financiers. Though he valued their contribution to the industrial age, he felt they were no longer capable of managing modern industrial society.

Initially, Veblen argued that the workers must therefore be the architects of the necessary social change that would create economic and industrial reform. Later, in the Engineers and the Price System, he shifted his focus away from workers towards technocratic engineers as the drivers of change.

He called for a thorough analysis of the institutions that maintained social stability. Once that analysis was understood, he opined, those with technological expertise should reform the institutions and thereby engineer society and improve efficiency. Veblen referred to these social change agents as a β€œsoviet of technicians.”

In 1919, Veblen became a co-founder of the John D. Rockefeller-funded private research university in New York called the New School for Social Research. From there he create the Technical Alliance, a fledgling technocratic organisation composed of scientists and engineersβ€”including, notably, Howard Scott.

Howard Scott

Scott didn’t like Veblen’s description of a β€œsoviet of technicians” and reportedly called it β€œa cockeyed thing.” He saw that the term’s  association with communism wasn’t welcome from a PR perspective and felt it undermined what he was trying to achieve with the technocracy movement.

Veblen’s involvement with the Technical Alliance was relatively brief, and some have suggested that his contribution to technocracy was minimal, accrediting Scott as the great mind behind it. Regardless of the extent of Veblen’s personal involvement in the movement, though, his socioeconomic theories permeate technocracy.

In 1933, the Technical Alliance reformed after an enforced hiatus that was prompted by Scott’s exposure as a fraudster (he had falsified his engineering credentials). The group renamed itself Technocracy Inc.

Despite his public humiliation, Scott was a skilled orator and remained the spokesman for Technocracy Inc. He worked with, among others, M. King Hubbert, who would later become globally renowned for his vague and generally inaccurate β€œpeak oil” theory.

Scott and Hubbert collaborated to write The Technocracy Inc. study course, a formal introduction of technocracy to the world. At the time, their proposals were technologically impossible to achieve, so sounded crazy.

Hubbert wrote:

Technocracy finds that the production and distribution of an abundance of physical wealth on a Continental scale for the use of all Continental citizens can only be accomplished by a Continental technological control, a governance of function, a Technate.

There’s the word used in the opening of this article: Technate.

The Technate, to Hubbert and Scott, was a technocratic society envisaged to encompass the North American continent. It would be administered by a central planning body formed of scientists, engineers and other suitably qualified technocrats. They believed technocracy would require a new monetary system based upon a calculation of the Technate’s total energy usage. People would be allocated an equal share of the corresponding β€œenergy certificates” (as a form of currency) denominated in units of energy (Joule or erg, etc.):

[I]ncome is granted to the public in the form of energy certificates. [. . .] They are issued individually to every adult of the entire population. [. . .] The record of one’s income and its rate of expenditure is kept by the Distribution Sequence, [the envisaged ledger of transactions] [. . .] so that it is a simple matter at any time for the Distribution Sequence to ascertain the state of an unknown customer’s balance. [. . .] Energy Certificates also contain the following additional information about the person to whom issued: whether he has not yet begun his period of service, is now performing service, or is retired [where service to the Technate is rewarded with Energy Certificates] [. . .] sex [that is, gender], [. . .] the geographical area in which he resides, and [. . .] job at which he works.

They envisioned a new price system, with all commodities and goods valued according to the energy cost of their production. Purchases made with β€œenergy certificates” would then be reported back to the appropriate department of the technocratic central planning committee. The transactions would be catalogued and analysed, enabling the central planners to precisely calculate the rolling energy balanceβ€”the balance between energy production and consumptionβ€”for the entire Technate.

In order for this system to work, all consumers’ energy expenditure (including all daily transactions) would need to be recorded in real time; the national inventory of net energy production and consumption would have to be constantly updated, around the clock; and a registry of every commodity and product needed to be scrupulously maintained, with every individual living in the Technate allocated a personal energy account. This would be updated to record their energy usage and personal net energy balance.

Hubbert and Scott made it clear that, for technocracy to work, an all-pervasive energy surveillance grid would be required. All citizens would be individually identified on the grid and every aspect of their daily lives monitored and controlled by the technocratic central planners.

Technocracy, as we can see, is a totalitarian form of surveillance-based, centralised, authoritarian governance that abolishes national sovereignty and political parties. Freedoms and rights are replaced with a duty to behave in the interest of a common good, as defined by the technocrats. All decisions about production, allocation of resources, technological innovation and economic activity are controlled by a technocracy of experts (Veblen’s β€œsoviet of technicians”).

In 1938, in Technocrat Magazine Vol. 3 No. 4 (to give its technocratic specification), technocracy was described as:

The science of social engineering, the scientific operation of the entire social mechanism to produce and distribute goods and services to the entire population.

For the parasite class and its G3P stakeholder partners, technocracy was obviously an irresistible idea. Technocracy potentially enables the precise engineering of society through the control of resources and energy through the mechanism of a linked, centrally planned and monitored economic and monetary system.

Or, as the Technocracy Inc. Study Course puts it:

The significance of this, from the point of view of knowledge of what is going on in the social system, and of social control, can best be appreciated when one surveys the whole system in perspective. First, one single organization is manning and operating the whole social mechanism. This same organization not only produces but distributes all goods and services. Hence a uniform system of record-keeping exists for the entire social operation, and all records of production and distribution clear to one central headquarters.

To control everything, the only thing that members of the parasite class would need to do is whisper in the ear of a few hand-picked technocrats. There would be no need to corrupt politicians or orchestrate international crises anymore.

While in the 1930s the Technate was an impracticable proposition, it was still something to inspire the G3P and a goal toward which it has been assiduously working.

Scott Speaking at a Technocracy inc. Rally

The Technocratic Opportunity

Understanding that technological development would eventually enable the Technate to be realised, in 1970 Professor Zbigniew Brzezinski (1928–2017) wrote Between Two Ages: America’s Role In The Technetronic Era. At the time, Brzezinski was a professor of political science at Columbia University, where Scott had first met Hubbert in 1932. He had already been an advisor to both the Kennedy and Johnson presidential campaigns and would later become National Security Advisor to President Jimmy Carter (1977–1981).

Brzezinski was a significant influence on late-20th-century US foreign policy, far beyond his years in the Carter administration. Though he was the Democrat counterpart to Republican Henry Kissinger, Brzezinski was a centrist whose deep dislike of the Soviet Union often placed him on the right of Kissinger on related issues. He supported the Vietnam War and was instrumental in β€œOperation Cyclone,” which saw the United States arm, train and equip Islamist extremists in Afghanistan.

He was a member of numerous policy think tanks, including the Council on Foreign Relations, the Center for Strategic and International Studies, and Le Cercle. And he was a regular attendee at the annual parasite class soiree, the Bilderberg conference. In 1973, Brzezinski and David Rockefeller formed the Trilateral Commission, a policy think tank with members from the US, Europe and Japan.

In short, Brzezinski was very much part of the Deep State milieu and the G3P.

Zbigniew Brzezinski (March 28, 1928 – May 26, 2017)

Between Two Ages is a geopolitical analysis and practical set of policy recommendations born from Brzezinski’s view that digital technology would transform society, culture, politics and the global balance of political power. It also provides us with a clear view of the mindset of the parasite class.

Brzezinski didn’t reference technocracy directly. Perhaps he was wary of its rather sketchy reputation following Scott’s disgrace. However, he did describe it in detail throughout the book. For example, he wrote:

Technological adaptation would involve the transformation of the bureaucratic dogmatic party into a party of technocrats. Primary emphasis would be on scientific expertise, efficiency, and discipline. [. . .] [T]he party would be composed of scientific experts, trained in the latest techniques, capable of relying on cybernetics and computers for social control.

He theorised about what he called the β€œTechnetronic Age” and offered a vision of the near future from the perspective of the 1970s. He predicted that the β€œTechnetronic Age” would arise out of the Technetronic Revolutionβ€”the β€œThird Revolution” to follow the Industrial Revolution. Klaus Schwab, founder of the World Economic Forum, would later call it the Fourth Industrial Revolution.

Brzezinski also wrote:

The post industrial society is becoming a β€˜technetronic’ society: a society that is shaped culturally, psychologically, socially, and economically by the impact of technology and electronicsβ€”particularly in the area of computers and communications.

He then went on to describe what he thought life in the Technetronic Age would be like for ordinary men, women and their families. He foretold how political and industrial control would be replaced by psychological control mechanisms, such as the cult of personality, and that these new control mechanisms would steer humans towards behaviour change. Our lives, he predicted, would be managed through computing power and, in the parlance of today, led by science:

Both the growing capacity for the instant calculation of the most complex interactions and the increasing availability of biochemical means of human control augment the potential scope of consciously chosen direction. [. . .] Masses are organized in the industrial society by trade unions and political parties and unified by relatively simple and somewhat ideological programs. [. . .] In the technetronic society the trend seems to be toward aggregating the individual support of millions of unorganized citizens, who are easily within the reach of magnetic and attractive personalities, and effectively exploiting the latest communication techniques to manipulate emotions and control reason.

He also explained how technology would enable extensive behaviour modification and manipulation of the population. He foresaw (suggested) how this modification and manipulation could be weaponised:

It may be possibleβ€”and temptingβ€”to exploit for strategic political purposes the fruits of research on the brain and on human behavior. [. . .] [O]ne could develop a system that would seriously impair the brain performance of very large populations in selected regions over an extended period.

Zbigniew Brzezinski wrote enthusiastically, through a paper-thin veil of caution, about how a β€œglobal scientific elite” could not only use extreme, all-pervasive propaganda and economic and political manipulation to determine the direction of society but could also exploit technology and behavioural science to genetically alter and brainwash the population.

Describing the form of this society and the potential for technocratic control, he wrote:

Such a society would be dominated by an elite whose claim to political power would rest on allegedly superior scientific know how. Unhindered by the restraints of traditional liberal values, this elite would not hesitate to achieve its political ends by using the latest modern techniques for influencing public behavior and keeping society under close surveillance and control.

He claimed that the β€œTechnetronic Age” he described was inevitable. Therefore, he asserted, the future of the United States (and the planet) must be centrally planned. These planners would eventually displace β€œthe lawyer as the key social legislator and manipulator.”

Brzezinski warned that other nationsβ€”he meant the Soviet Union, which he hatedβ€”wouldn’t hesitate to embark on this dark social engineering path. Therefore, he urged, US geopolitical strategists needed to be the first to develop this network of plannersβ€”aka, technocracy. This would be done, Brzezinski wrote, by fusing government with academia and private corporations: the G3P.

His Between Two Ages made it clear that political parties would become increasingly irrelevant, replaced by regional structures pursuing β€œurban, professional, and other interests.” These could be used to β€œprovide the focus for political action.” The author understood the potential for this localised, technocratic administrative system:

In the technetronic age the greater availability of means permits the definition of more attainable ends, thus making for a less doctrinaire and a more effective relationship between β€˜what is’ and β€˜what ought to be.’

He also suggested a redefinition of freedom. Liberty would be achieved through centrally planned public commitment to social and economic equality. The β€œpublic good” was thus defined by the technocrats.

The positive potential of the third American revolution lies in its promise to link liberty with equality, according to Brzezinski.

Brzezinski recognised that it would be impossible to impose world government directly. Rather it should be gradually constructed through a system of global governance comprised of treaties, bilateral agreements and intergovernmental organisations:

Though the objective of shaping a community of the developed nations is less ambitious than the goal of world government, it is more attainable. [. . .] It [global governance] attempts to create a new framework for international affairs not by exploiting these divisions [between nation-states] but rather by striving to preserve and create openings for reconciliation.

One β€œopening” that he was particularly interested in was China. Tensions between Russia and China had continued to rumble on, and, as Brzezinski wrote in Between Two Ages, they had spilled over into a border conflict. He saw that the Sino-Soviet split had created an opportunity to shape China’s modernisation:

In China the Sino Soviet conflict has already accelerated the inescapable Sinification of Chinese communism. That conflict shattered the revolution’s universal perspective andβ€”perhaps even more importantβ€” detached Chinese modernization from its commitment to the Soviet model. Hence, whatever happens in the short run, in years to come Chinese development will probably increasingly share the experience of other nations in the process of modernization. This may both dilute the regime’s ideological tenacity and lead to more eclectic experimentation in shaping the Chinese road to modernity.

These ideas were firmly in Brzezinski’s mind when he and committed eugenicist David Rockefeller, whose family had been bankrolling technocratic initiatives for more than 50 years, first convened the Trilateral Commission. The two were eventually joined by other so-called β€œthought leaders”—namely, population control expert Henry Kissinger, Club of Rome environmentalist Gro Harlem Brundtland, US presidents (Bill Clinton, for one) and Council on Foreign Relations head Richard Haass, who more recently wrote World Order 2.0.

Rockefeller (left) and Brzezinski

Constructing The Technate In China

Mao Zedong’s β€œGreat Leap Forward” saw 40 million people brutalised and starved to death in just three horrific years (1959–1961). Apologists claim this was all a terrible mistake. But it was nothing of the kind.

In the certain knowledge that food supplies were running out, in 1958 Mao insisted that β€œto distribute resources evenly will only ruin the Great Leap Forward.” Later the same year, he asserted:

When there is not enough to eat, people starve to death. It is better to let half the people die so that others can eat their fill.

In his zeal to create a communist utopia, Mao presided over a system that seized food from starving millions and exported it to fund his political reforms and support his determination to rapidly industrialise the economy. It wasn’t an error or an unfortunate oversight. While many were so terrified that they submitted fake reports of surpluses that didn’t exist, it is clear that the leadership of the People’s Republic of China (PRC) knew exactly what the human costs were. They just didn’t care.

Mao and Rockefeller’s view of the Great Leap Forward

Nor did David Rockefeller, as evidenced by his 1973 op-ed for The New York Times. He and his Chase Group banking empire delegation had visited Maoist China. In his account of the trip, Rockefeller dismissed the mass murder of millions as β€œwhatever.” It was only the product of genocide that Rockefeller was interested in:

One is impressed immediately by the sense of national harmony. [. . .] There is a very real and pervasive dedication to Chairman Mao and Maoist principles. Whatever the price of the Chinese revolution it has obviously succeeded, not only in producing a more efficient administration, but also in fostering. [. . .] a community of purpose.

The Trilateralist Rockefeller could see the opportunity the Chinese dictatorship presented the parasite class. In full agreement with Brzezinski, he wrote:

Too often the true significance and potential of our new relationship with China has been obscured. [. . .] In fact, of course, we are experiencing a much more fundamental phenomenon. [. . .] The Chinese, for their part, are faced with altering a primarily inward focus. [. . .] We, for our part, are faced with the realization that we have largely ignored a country with one-fourth of the world’s population.

The β€œwe” Rockefeller referred to was not us. He meant the G3P and his fellow β€œstakeholder capitalists” and Trilateralists.

The totalitarian order he saw in China impressed him, as he had hoped it would. Not that Rockefeller was the only Trilateralist to see the technocratic possibilities in China. So did others, naturally, for the sheer scale of the market was an enticing prospect, and the promise of the β€œTechnetronic Age” raised the real potential to build the world’s first Technate.

Completely discounting the appalling loss of human life, Rockefeller wrote:

The social experiment in China under Chairman Mao’s leadership is one of the most important and successful in human history. How extensively China opens up and how the world reacts to the social innovation [. . .] is certain to have a profound impact upon the future of many nations.

A look at the Great Leap Forward

The G3P’s task was to crack open the Chinese market while supporting the country’s ongoing totalitarian rule. China would need help with its economic development and technical support to build the technological infrastructure necessary for technocracy to work. This process had already begun, but with Rockefeller, Brzezinski, Kissinger and other Trilateralists committed to the cause, the target of constructing a Technate was firmly in the Trilateral Commission’s sights.

The Trilateralists set about assisting China to develop both economically and technologically, while remaining careful to avoid applying too much pressure for political reform. Totalitarianism was a system they supported and wanted to exploit. In their 1978 Paper No. 15 on East-West Relations, they suggested:

To grant China favourable conditions in economic relations is definitely in the political interest of the West. [. . .] [T]here seems to exist sufficient ways for aiding China in acceptable forms with advanced civilian technology.

In the same paper, the Trilateralists announced that they weren’t entirely averse to helping China modernise its military capability, though they stressed this should be only for defensive purposes.

They accepted that a modern, militarised China might turn to expansionism and seek to regain territory it historically claimed as its ownβ€”in particular, Taiwan. They judged this was a reasonable risk to take.

They were playing the great game. Human livesβ€”except their own and the lives of their families, of courseβ€”were of no concern.

In Part 2 we will look at how they set about constructing the world’s first Technate in China.

FEATURED TWITTER REPORT: A monthly subscription: Trust & Safety Council: What the latest changes mean for users

This is our daily post that is shared across Twitter & Telegram and published first on here with Kindness & Love XX on peace-truth.com/

Ace Press News From Cutting Room Floor: Published: Dec.14: 2022:

#AceNewsDesk – Twitter re-launched its controversial subscription Twitter Blue, including paid-for check marks, on the same day CEO Elon Musk disbanded the platform’s Trust and Safety Council.

It marks another day of the tumult that has dogged the company since Mr Musk bought it in October this year.

Here’s what happened and what it means for Twitter users.

What is happening with Twitter Blue?

Twitter Blue is the platform’s subscription service.

Previously, the blue check mark next to a user’s name was only reserved for verified accounts of politicians, famous personalities, journalists and other public figures.

Now, for $US8 ($11.82) a month, anyone can have the blue tick on their profile.

Twitter Blue initially launched in November before being paused after fake “verified” accounts flooded the platform. It was then scheduled to launch again on November 29, but that was pushed back.

Under the latest model, grey and gold check marks have also been introduced β€” grey for governments and gold for companies.

What does Twitter Blue mean for users?

The social platform claims users will benefit from more than just the blue check mark next to the username.

Subscribers get 50 per cent fewer ads, can post longer videos, and their replies, mentions and searches will be prioritised, “helping to fight scams and spam”.

They will also be able to edit tweets and use non-fungible tokens (NFTs) as their profile picture.

There is a small twist for Apple iOS users, however, as they are expected to pay $US11.

Twitter has not explained why Apple users are being charged more than others, but there have been media reports the company was looking for ways to offset fees charged in the App Store.

Mr Musk had in a series of tweets last month listed various grievances with Apple, including the 30 per cent fee the iPhone maker charges software developers for in-app purchases.

Why is Twitter introducing a subscription model?

Mr Musk has previously claimed the company needed to supplement its ad revenue, after advertisers β€” Twitter’s main revenue source β€” fled the platform over concerns about brand safety.

The Wall Street Journal at the start of November reported that, among others, Pfizer, Audi, Volkswagen and Mondelez International β€” the maker of Oreos β€” had temporarily paused their Twitter advertising.

Some advertisers expressed concerns about Mr Musk’s scaling back of content moderation.

Most notably, Mr Musk said Apple threatened to block Twitter from its app store and had stopped advertising on the platform, after he tweeted a series of grievances with the company.

However, after a subsequent meeting with Apple chief executive Tim Cook, he tweeted that the misunderstanding about Twitter being removed from Apple’s app store was resolved.

What was Twitter’s Safety and Trust Council?

Not long after the relaunch of Twitter Blue, it came to light that the social platform’s Safety and Trust Council had been disbanded.

The council β€” made up of about 100 independent, civil, human rights and other organisations β€” worked as an advisory group designed to help to address hate speech, child exploitation, suicide, self-harm and other problems on the platform.

The social media company informed the council that it had been disbanded shortly before the start time of its next scheduled meeting.

The volunteer group provided expertise and guidance on how the social platform could better combat hate, harassment and other harms, but did not have any decision-making authority and did not review specific content disputes.

The disbandment happened not long after three council members announced they were resigning, stating: “Contrary to claims by Elon Musk, the safety and wellbeing of Twitter’s users are on the decline.”

What does the end of the Trust and Safety Council mean for Twitter moderation?

Mr Musk had earlier said that he would form a new “content moderation council” to help make major decisions but later changed his mind.

Former Twitter employee Patricia Cartes, whose job it was to form the council in 2016, said its dissolution “means there’s no more checks and balances”.

Ms Cartes said the company sought to bring a global outlook to the council, with experts from around the world who could relay concerns about how new Twitter policies or products might affect their communities.

She contrasted that with Mr Musk’s current practice of surveying his Twitter followers before making a policy change affecting how content gets moderated.

“He doesn’t really care as much about what experts think,” Ms Cartes said.

Mr Musk soon fired back, amplifying criticism of the council and Twitter’s past leadership for allegedly not doing enough to stop child sexual exploitation on the platform.

“It is a crime that they refused to take action on child exploitation for years!” Mr Musk tweeted.

A growing number of attacks led some remaining members to send an email to Twitter early on Monday demanding the company stop misrepresenting the council’s role.

Those false accusations by Twitter leaders were “endangering current and former Council members,” the email said.

The Trust and Safety Council, in fact, had as one of its advisory groups one that focused on child exploitation.

FEATURED U.K REPORT: ‘Opportunistic’ investors buy cheap buildings to house asylum seekers & tax-payers pay the price

#AceNewsDesk – Investors are raking in millions of pounds a year from the taxpayer by buying run-down hotels to turn them into migrant hostels, the Mail can reveal.

One β€˜opportunistic’ firm stands to make up to Β£11million a year after buying four hotels………………….Another company is also set to make big profits after buying 12 hotels in under two years…………..The companies have been accused of taking advantage of Covid lockdowns – which decimated the tourism industry – to pick up hotels cheaply.

Managing director of H&H Hotels, Egyptian Hassan Arif, 32, could beΒ making the hotel firm up toΒ  Β£11million a year from renting out rooms to the Government, paid for by the taxpayer

They are then closed to the public before being handed over to Serco, the private company responsible for housing the hundreds of migrants who arrive in Britain every day.

H&H Hotels is currently running four seafront hotels in Skegness, Lincolnshire, which are home to asylum seekers (Pictured:Β Chatsworth Hotel in Skegness which is home to 56 men)

There is no suggestion the firms have done anything illegal. But their business model poses further questions about the Home Office’s handling of the migrant crisis.

H&H Hotels is currently running four seafront hotels in Skegness, Lincolnshire, which are home to asylum seekers.

They include the three-star Chatsworth Hotel, which is home to 56 men; the Sun Hotel, also three star, which houses 32 men; and the 40-bed Leisure Hotel nearby. The County Hotel has 51 migrants.

Another H&H hotel – the 29-bed Rose and Crown in Wisbech, Cambridgeshire – closed to the public in November with asylum seekers arriving days later.

The local council sought a High Court injunction to stop it being used for migrants but failed.

The Home Office pays up to Β£150 a night per migrant, meaning H&H could make Β£11million a year from renting out rooms to the Government.

The Sun Hotel, in Skegness, Lincolnshire, is a three star, seafront hotel housing 32 men and is being run by H&H Hotels

H&H has also set up companies to manage hotels in Brighton and Eastbourne in Sussex and Blackpool in Lancashire.

The rundown hotels areΒ closed to the public before being handed over to Serco, the private company responsible for housing the hundreds of migrants who arrive in Britain every day

It runs another hotel in Great Yarmouth, Norfolk, and one in London, which is being used to house migrants – meaning the amount the firm is making could be even higher.

Official figures show there are currently almost 50,000 asylum seekers and refugees being housed in 140 UK hotels at a cost of Β£6.8million a day

H&H Hotels was set up in December last year. Managing director, Egyptian Hassan Arif, 32, is listed as director of 17 companies. Craig Leyland, leader of East Lindsey District Council, which covers Skegness, said: β€˜The company H&H have been buying up these hotels across the country. It’s opportunistic.

‘They have sniffed out that the Government is throwing a lot of money at this and for a year or twos’ investment they can make a very good return – they have done their sums.

β€˜The issue is that the Home Office is throwing quite considerable money at this so it is an attractive business model.

‘As leader of the council, I fully understand that the Home Office is under tremendous pressure to solve this.

‘My issue is the processing of asylum seekers is taking too long.’

Mr Arif declined to comment.

A second businessman, Na’im Anis Payman, 28, has also bought property in Skegness – one of at least 12 hotels he snapped up in the last two years.

At least three of the properties are currently or have previously been used to house asylum seekers.

Another H&H hotel ΒΏ the 29-bed Rose and Crown in Wisbech, Cambridgeshire ΒΏ closed to the public in November with asylum seekers arriving days later

At a fourth, the Maycliffe Hotel in Torquay, Devon, live-in managers Miles and Roxanne O’Lord, who had run the hotel for 14 months, claimed they were given two weeks’ notice to vacate by the company Payman Club.

They said they were told the hotel was being closed to the public and used to house asylum seekers but they do not appear to have moved in.

In November, 40 aslyum seekers moved into The Royal Hotel in Kettering, Northamptonshire, to the anger of local Tory MP Philip Hollobone, who said Home Office minister Robert Jenrick should resign over the matter.

Mr Payman is of German and Iranian descent. He grew up in Albania before moving to the UK and studying at Cambridge.

He retains strong business ties to Albania. On his website he tells how he set up Payman Club while studying natural sciences at Cambridge.

It provides short-term accommodation in Cambridge and Oxford. After graduating, he oversaw the growth of the company to areas across the UK and further afield.

Mr Payman also declined to comment last night but insisted he was not paid the rate of Β£150 a night to house each migrant.

Official figures show there are currently almost 50,000 asylum seekers and refugees being housed in 140 UK hotels at a cost of Β£6.8million a day.

The trend is happening across the country with hotels closing suddenly to the public to make way for asylum seekers.

Councils have criticised the Home Office for failing to consult properly or inform residents in the area.

But the rewards can be huge. One hotelier who recently sold up said he was offered Β£1.5million a year from the Home Office compared to the Β£57,000-a-year profit he usually made.

A Home Office spokesman said: β€˜The asylum accommodation system is under enormous pressure.

β€˜Decisions on members of the public who are temporarily residing at hotels and staffing are a matter for the hoteliers and the Home Office instructs providers to carry out thorough diligence checks before any site is used.’
