Storyville In the Beginning

Do you have a story to tell about the ups and downs of your life? Many people do, and it all began…

Just out of the blue, you lose a parent, a close person, some would say, but for others, not so close. That is how the story started

A young man some would say but for others, a mere 30, who lost a person who could not communicate with his son with love but asked his son on his deathbed to look after his mother

Now the son was taken aback as dad had never asked his son for anything or given him any chance to have an opinion in the house and would beat him for having to speak out of turn to protect his mum from anger in the household

Now, the son should maybe have said No, but that was not in him anyhow, so it was Yes, and the follow-up was ‘ Promise Me Asked Dad ‘ as l am dying, so it had begun that son was the ‘ Bread Winner ‘ now and had to take care of someone else his mum who could not show any love like dad

A few days later on the 13th dad died leaving son to organise and keep his promised but the son was not at his fathers beside as he was working and dad died just before he arrived so he never got to say goodbye

Now that day of the funeral took place and all the relatives and brother came as it had been arranged by that Son who promised and took place for the Son with out a tear as he was the one that made sure everyone had been told and did it all as was promised

Brother left with wife saying we really must go and son was left alone eventually looking after his mother to cook and clean and everything to keep that promised made

Never once a single word or tear was shed as son began to change and work to earn to pay for all needed for him and mum each day

This was the beginning of a new life for Son and Mother alike and it would take time to come to terms for them both as there was much more to come in Chapter Two
