I’ve got a special pocket
That’s stitched into my chest It’s full of all the moments That I’ve thought of as my best And when a good friend tells me About the things that make them smile I place them in my pocket So I can keep them for a while And when I’m feeling saddened I’ll open up my pocket To help the sadness go away The pocket’s always endless And the love that spills out from it Is how the pocket grows And sometimes if you’re lucky If I hug you tight You can feel my pocket beating And you might just feel its glow
Just as I was today
Yet sometimes it overflows
