Unattainable Love 💕

"The way I look at tragic love is this; you can feel something in this life or feel nothing, and this person makes you feel.
Even though you may not have the privilege of being with them in the way you'd like to be, that doesn't diminish who they are as a person or the way you feel about them. It is a rare gift just to know someone that special and to feel all the emotions they give you. And in a strange kind of way, even though it hurts, there's a kind of beauty to unfulfilled love that is never faded by reality or dulled by time. They will always be that unreachable, perfect thing. And though not being with them hurts, they'll never hurt you directly or knowingly in a relationship through their actions and in that sense they're safe to love and that love will always retain its purity. To love something doesn't mean you have to possess it… and if you need to possess something to quantify your love then it's not real love at all. You love something because it is what it is not for the purpose it serves - you or because it contributes to your own happiness. The key is to accept tragic love for what it is - imperfectly pure. Tell me that's not, in its own way, the most beautiful, unattainable dream anyone could ever be inspired by."
