Here is a simple rule you can choose to live by: If someone makes you happy, make them more comfortable.
It’s that simple.
Of course, make sure that they genuinely appreciate what you do for them.
If they don’t, then again the choice is yours, to keep making them happy or not.
If you are lucky enough to find that one person that makes you happy and you can do the same, then never stop making each other happy.
Easy enough.
