OUR FATHER ~

We assert our belief in “resurrection from the dead.” Have you considered the implications of this belief? Furthermore, what measures can be taken in preparation for your resurrection? This is a significant inquiry for discussion. After careful contemplation, I explored what eternal life entails and how individuals can prepare for it. I arrived at the conclusion that love is central to this preparation. Given that God embodies love, it follows that to coexist with Him, one must cultivate the ability to love. Evidence suggests that children who lack early exposure to love often encounter challenges in giving and receiving love in adulthood. Thus, the most crucial responsibility of parents is to provide unwavering love to their children, affirming their commitment and introducing them to a God who offers constant love and presence. An insightful observation by a colleague emphasises the cyclical nature of love; by opening ourselves to receiving love, we enhance our ability to extend love to others. The more one loves, the more one can experience the love of others and of God. It is also essential to recognise the importance of self-love. Ultimately, our preparation for resurrection is closely tied to our understanding of eternal life. Jesus exemplified the value of spending time with His friends, and I find solace in imagining engaging with those I cherish on Earth. What reflections do you have on this matter?
