Prayer ~ Petition,  Rossry

The Prayers of the Rosary

Our Father
Our Father, who dwells in the celestial realm, may revere and sanctify your name. Let your divine kingdom be established on earth as in the above heavens. We humbly request that you provide us with daily sustenance, nourishing our bodies and souls. Moreover, we ask for your forgiveness for our transgressions as we extend forgiveness to those who have wronged us. Guide us away from the trials of temptation and deliver us from the forces of evil that seek to mislead us. Amen.

Hail Mary
Hail Mary, full of grace and divine favour. The Lord is consistently present with you; you are indeed blessed among all women, and blessed is the holy fruit of your womb, Jesus Christ. Holy Mary, Mother of God, intercede for us, your children, and sinners, both in this present moment and during the hour of our ultimate passing. Amen.

Glory Be
Glory be to the Father, the source of all creation, and to the Son, our Saviour, and to the Holy Spirit, the Guiding Presence. As it was at the inception of time, it is unfolding and shall remain eternally, a world without end. Amen.

The Apostles’ Creed
I profess my belief in God, the Father Almighty, who is the Creator of heaven and earth and in Jesus Christ, His only Son, our Lord, who was brought into existence through the Holy Spirit…

The Prayer After the Rosary acknowledges God, whose only-begotten Son has redeemed humanity through His life, death, and resurrection, granting believers the promise of eternal life. The prayer asks for the grace to meditate on the Mysteries of the Holy Rosary of the Blessed Virgin Mary, hoping to embody their lessons and receive their promises through Christ. It concludes with a petition for divine assistance to always remain with the faithful and a remembrance of the souls of the departed, praying for them to find peace through God’s mercy.

We joyfully affirm our belief in the Holy One, conceived by the Virgin Mary. He faced significant challenges during the governance of Pontius Pilate, culminating in His crucifixion, death, and honourable burial. However, this is not the end of the story—on the third day, He rose again triumphantly, conquering death! Following His resurrection, He ascended to the heavenly realms, where He now reigns in glory at the right hand of God, the Almighty Father. He will joyfully return from this exalted position to bring judgment and everlasting life to the living and the departed.

We enthusiastically embrace the doctrine of the Holy Spirit, the universal Catholic Church, the fellowship of saints, the absolution of sins, the resurrection of the body, and the promise of eternal life. Amen!

Hail, Holy Queen, our mother, our life, and our hope! With hearts full of joy, we come to you, the loving descendants of Eve, presenting our heartfelt prayers. We turn our sorrows to you, seeking comfort in this temporary journey filled with challenges. O most compassionate Advocate, we earnestly seek your gracious attention! After this time of longing, may you reveal the wondrous gift of your womb, Jesus. O clement, O loving, O sweet Virgin Mary, intercede for us, O Holy Mother of God, so that we may be filled with the joy of the promises spoken by Christ!
