Scriptures About the End Times

Matthew 24:3-13

As twilight settled over the Mount of Olives, the disciples approached Jesus with a pressing question: “Tell us, when will these events take place, and what will be the sign of Your return and the end of the age?”

Jesus answered them with clarity and authority, instructing them to remain vigilant and avoid deception.

He boldly declared that many would arise, claiming to be the Christ and leading many astray. “You will hear of wars and conflicts; do not let fear grip you,” He emphasised, “for these events are merely the precursor to what lies ahead.

Nations will confront nations, and kingdoms will clash.

Expect famines, epidemics, and earthquakes to occur in various places—these are just the beginning of the sorrows.

For my name’s sake, you will indeed face persecution and may be hated by all nations.

In this challenging time, betrayal will arise, and love will grow cold as false prophets seek to deceive.

However, those who endure and stand firm will be saved.

Ultimately, the gospel of the kingdom will be proclaimed throughout the world as a powerful testimony to all nations before the end arrives.”

2. 2 Timothy 3:1

“Understand this: The last days will present formidable challenges.”

1 Thessalonians 5:2-3

“You are aware that the day of the Lord will come unexpectedly, like a thief in the night.

While people proclaim ‘Peace and safety,’ sudden destruction will befall them, just as labour pains will inevitably seize a pregnant woman, and there will be no escape.”

Revelation 1:3

“Blessed is the one who confidently reads aloud the words of this prophecy, and blessed are those who listen and take its message to heart, for the time is approaching.”

Revelation 22:12

“Behold, I am coming soon! My reward is with me, and I will give each person according to their deeds.”

These scriptures assert the importance of vigilance and unwavering faith.

They remind us of the certainty of future events while encouraging us to stand firm amid difficulties, knowing that those who persevere will be rewarded.
