I am weary of my crying: my throat is dried: mine eyes fail while I wait for my God.
We live in an imperfect world, and it is inevitable that bad times will come our way. No one can escape tears and heartache during this earthly life. As Christians, we have hope! Our knowledge of God’s presence brings us peace and comfort. We know God is in control and has ultimate power over the outcome of our struggles. As we wait patiently, God’s Spirit abides in our hearts, guiding and comforting us each moment.
Dear Lord, thank you for your presence and comfort through our struggles. You reassure us that Your mighty hands will catch every tear and you will continue to love us unconditionally. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.
