Lord ~

Change is unavoidable. We all know that-but we still often act surprised when things don’t stay the same.

When change occurs, we have a choice: we can either complain and grumble, get angry, and blame others, or we can embrace the journey ahead. Resisting the inevitable is futile, for nothing on earth remains constant. Every moment of our lives presents an opportunity for transformation, whether it brings challenges or blessings.

When God created the earth, this is one of the first things he said: “As long as the earth remains, there will be planting and harvest, cold and heat, summer and winter, day and night” Genesis 8:22 In his perfect design, God made everything on this planet seasonal.

Everything is changing, even when we can’t see or feel it. Your family isn’t the way it used to be. Your job isn’t the same as it used to be.

You are not the same as you used to be.

Change is a beautiful part of our journey, designed by God to lead us to incredible growth! It’s a reminder that nothing stays the same, and every twist and turn allows us to trust Him more deeply. When challenges arise, they can actually draw us closer to Him, allowing us to depend on His love and grace. Embracing change allows us to grow spiritually, physically, and emotionally, adding vibrancy to our lives. Every step towards becoming more like Jesus is a step toward joy, and it’s thrilling to know that with each change, we are becoming the best versions of ourselves! Rejoice in the journey!

There is no growth without change. There is no change without loss.

There is no loss without grief. And there is no grief without pain. A person who wants to grow and be better but not go through the pain of change is like a woman saying, “I want to have a baby, but I don’t want to go through labor.” It isn’t going to happen! To bring new life into the world requires pain. To enjoy every good gift, we sometimes have to experience the painful change required to receive it.

Things change, but remember this: Change will not always be easy, and you might not always understand it. But whatever change God requires from you, you can be sure it is for your good.
