Narcissists Are Addicts

Narcissists are addicts.

They are addicted to being significant,

They are addicted to attention.

They are addicted to constantly being validated and acknowledged.

Narcissists live for narcissistic supply.

Wisdom

That is their drug.

Think about an addict who will do anything to get their drug, even if it hurts the people around them.

Narcissists are no different.

What’s worse is narcissists don’t want to get better and, they don’t think there is anything wrong, with the way they function in the world.

Their pathology and need to be the best will not allow them to see themselves as anything but the false self, which is perfect, or amazing.

They just want to continue to get their supply, at any cost, no matter who it hurts.

Be it friend, family, stranger, and sadly even if it is their children
