God Bless America 🇺🇸 🙏

Even after more than four years since first published, Amazon advised me this morning that ‘Yonderings’ ranked fourth in their sales for Texas travel guides.

This in a business where a new effort is usually finished and forgotten within a month or so.

‘Yonderings’ was my first attempt ever to have anything published, but with the help of fellow authors Bill Wright and Marcia Daudistal, my manuscript was accepted almost immediately by TCU Press.

A special thanks to Bill and Marcia for putting up with my sometimes contrarian ways, and to TCU Press for taking a chance on a first-time writer. They say that hardly anyone is accepted by a university press on the first try, I was truly blessed in this happening to me.

In that vein, another sincere ‘thank you’ goes to Dan Edwards, owner of Creative Texts. He took a real chance on offering a long term, multi book contract to a fledging writer with only one book under his belt.

But most of all I need to thank you, the individual reader, for your continuing kind words, encouragements and support. Having a book published is one thing, having it published by a major press is another, and having three more released within four more years goes far beyond that.

All of which stems from all of you who come to my book signings and talks, send me your notes of appreciation and buy and comment on my works. Without you there wouldn’t be much reason to write.

Again, thank you. Those two words are often misused or said so lightly, but I send them to you with the utmost in appreciation and gratefulness. You will always get the very best of what I have to offer.

God bless to all,

Life is like a bunch of roses. Some sparkle like raindrops. Some fade when there's no sun. Some just fade away in time. Some dance in many colors. Some drop with hanging wings. Some make you fall in love. The beauty is in the eye of the beholder. Life you can be sure of, you will not get out ALIVE.(sorry about that)
