Descendants of Indigenous diggers have paid tribute to their ancestors in Barmah, Victoria at an Anzac commemoration πŸ–€ πŸ’› ❀️

Uncle Raymond Finn rode to commemorate the 11th Light Horse on Anzac Day, which was made up of First Nations soldiers. Finn is dedicated to telling the untold stories of Indigenous diggers and their sacrifices for Australia.

“We’ve been in all wars and I don’t know why they can’t give us that acknowledgement. I just can’t understand it.” Uncle Raymond Finn said.

It’s important that there is widespread and further recognition of First Nations history, from all eras of Australia’s long history.Descendants of Indigenous diggers have paid tribute to their ancestors in Barmah, Victoria at an Anzac commemoration πŸ–€ πŸ’› ❀️
