The enemy thrives on creating confusion. He instigates:
– Uncalled-for arguments
– Hurtful jabs that cut unexpectedly deep
– Old wounds you thought were healed
– Emotional triggers that throw you off balance
– Minor annoyances that escalate into central tension
– Thoughts that spiral quickly and heavily, distracting you just enough
This often happens when you’re making significant strides in your pursuit—right when you open your Bible, pray intentionally, or feel clarity in your heart again.
Why does this happen?
Because the enemy knows what lies ahead if you stay focused. He understands the breakthroughs that await you if you continue pressing forward. He knows what God will reveal if you remain steadfast.
To derail your progress, he sends irritations to cloud your clarity, stir conflicts to disrupt your peace, and target your relationships, emotions, and mind. His aim is to make you close your Bible, walk away, or shut down entirely.
