“LAID UP!” a poem in the series: “Why Mim Got Sick One Day!” written: June 12, 2019 (Wednesday)
Little kids get sick, ’cause they’re moving all the while,
Yet, even when they’re in THE BED, they’re “RUNNING!!” with a smile,
And-they’re-STILL-“chomping-at-the-bit,” waiting-for-the-gun-so-they-can-run,
And play and squeal {what a good deal} under a glorious Sun!
The wind and rain are their mentors because they’re wild and free;
They’re “CHANGE-able,” and-OK-with-that, I think we’d all agree!
SO LITTLE KIDS GET SICK SOMETIMES, SO THEY CAN GET A REST,
So they can improve their “playing skills,” and-be-at-their-very-best’
At being SUPER KIDDOS – and keeping The World happy,
And ANNOYING:
Teachers!
