~ Weather – Ambrose Bierce

Once I dipt into the future far as human eye could see,

And I saw the Chief Forecaster, dead as anyone can be

Dead and damned and shut in Hades as a liar from his birth,

With a record of unreason seldom paralleled on earth.

While I looked he reared him solemnly, that incandescent youth,

From the coals that he’d preferred to the advantages of truth.

He cast his eyes about him and above him; then he wrote

On a slab of thin asbestos what I venture here to quote

For I read it in the rose-light of the everlasting glow

“Cloudy; variable winds, with local showers; cooler; snow.”

Life is like a bunch of roses. Some sparkle like raindrops. Some fade when there's no sun. Some just fade away in time. Some dance in many colors. Some drop with hanging wings. Some make you fall in love. The beauty is in the eye of the beholder. Life you can be sure of, you will not get out ALIVE.(sorry about that)

In the beginning God made it rain upon the earth while we slept, so when we awoke to a bright new day then creation was adorned with beauty as the sun shone and provided the sustenance to make all things in his garden bright and beautiful every day …..but mankind destroyed his gift and now everyone suffers ….time to put it right Shalom
