Maybe I shouldn’t have coffee in the morning or EMBRACE YOU passionately

On The Veranda,

Or, IT could be that DRIVING’S TOO DANGEROUS or,

I might not be able to make a good origami panda;*

Or, maybe, you’ll leave (me) Or (we’ll) FALL OUT OF LOVE,

Or, IT COULD BE THAT person in my dreams (that) I’m dreaming of,

should be YOU. However, maybe it’s HER or HIM or I should be celibate,

Or, maybe, I should be moving to Egypt because I could (maybe) BE a reincarnation of The Boy King KING TUT.

Maybe, I’D BE HAPPIER doing 1000 OTHER THINGS that people suggest could be “better for me to do?”

Maybe it’s better to be red, green, or turquoise, rather than BABY BLUE.

Um. Yeah. MAYBE NOT (pause) or (drum roll) MAYBE SO, (pause)

I guess just DOING SOMETHING (which for some people is darned near impossible when they are forever fretting over what to do next) and not worrying (SO MUCH), although, for some, worrying seems to have become a habit (or an addiction)

Is the only way TO REALLY KNOW;

It SHOULD BE easier to live than this, so ,

Maybe IF I can convince myself of it MAYBE maybe(s) will then HaveNoREALSwayOverMe AND ARE JUST THINGS THAT YOU CAN GET Over.

If so, it COULD BE A GOOD IDEA to [just] call on Dear Ol’ Red Rover,

And maybe go for a quiet walk with the one I adore [holding hands] or go on a cruise with Honey,

‘Cause, MAYBE I’M RICH, and things are JUST FINE, WithOrWithoutMoney.

SELF RESPECT, within reason? SHOULD BE maybe the way to go;

I think that’s what I’d like The Whole World to know,

For, (Amoral) You CAN make everything VERY complicated or SIMPLE, with a smile or a touch of your hand,

AND WHO CARES ANYWAY? Maybe it’s OK not to EVER UNDERSTAND.
