Червоний мак ось уже кілька років є символом Дня примирення і пам’яті в Україні, а також Дня Перемоги над нацизмом у Другій світовій війні.

У багатьох країнах він є символом жертв війни

These may days are the holidays during which the United States, Great Britain and most Western European countries celebrate the day of the surrender of Germany and accordingly the end of World War II in Europe

For several years already the red poppy has been a symbol of the Day of Reconciliation and Remembrance in Ukraine, as well as the Day of Victory over Nazism in World War II.
In many countries it’s a symbol of war victims.
