The greatest LOVE I ever had

Was for our CAT; (Now, ain’t that sad?)

(Not really) Her name was Susa, and I hurried home from school,

To be with that CAT, that darned cat; Susa was SO cool,

She’d purr, I’d pet; I loved her so. One day? She’s gone. She’s gone, yet, lo,

I later played a sousaphone; I liked to play it hard;

It felt so good; I played it often, and it grew a yard,

When I stroked its hardened head.

I SO loved “my INSTRUMENT,” but I “put it to bed,”c

For time went by, and I decided:

That I simply loved MUSIC. With MUSIC, I sided.

It became my religion; I sang and played,

[John Philip] Sousa marches, and (I found that) wondrous sounds I made.

Sure, I loved our CAT and that INSTRUMENT, the sousaphone,

But MUSIC now was my love alone,

UNTIL I discovered “the perfect” RELIGION.

(At this point, you’re probably saying: “This guy’s [some] kind of ‘[a]pigeon;’

He goes from here to there & back; he’s swimmin’ in his head; it must haveAcrack.”)

But, wait, Ye Doubters (for) in Su kyo Mahikari*

The Name of God is SU. Sure, I’m sorry,

But this is just too coinci dental, & SUza is “God’s Place.” Yeah, I know, it’s Or iental,

But, come on, now, don’t you agree? God’s gotta be a Sioux; it’s just GOTTA BE.

And this must mean that God’s Great Name, Must be SOO or SIOU or SU;

You can’t really blame, Me for thinking that? (Can you?)

AND. And, And, And, just the other day,

I was going past a gas station, which was along my way,

And it was a new station called: SU NO CO,

And there are gasolines and additives at other stations too with a “SU” logo.

So, there you have it; if you wanna get to heaven, it may be in the middle of The Su n;

Let’s all meet there with Su perman Soo n; We’ll have a bunch of fun.
