“TAKING A STAND?” a poem 14 Oct 2019 [Monday]
Freud,* he called it EGO; it’s ALWAYS waving its hand,
Saying: “I don’t wanna be a mess any more; help me take a stand,
On my OWN TWO LEGS,
I WANT TO KNOW IT ALL;
I wanna HAVE IT ALL too; please, don’t let me fall,
For, I’m teetering on a precipice ; I have no faith to live;
I simply wanna UNDER STAND why I can not give,
Why I can not know WHAT LIES BENEATH MY VISION,
And what towers above me. I’M FILLED WITH SUCH DIVISION.
I wanna be COMPLETED, together and balanced fine;
I want MYPLACEMYPLACEMYPLACE with The Great Divine.
I wanna be AWARE; I want to be SELF assured;
I DO NOT WANT MY VISION EVER “badly blurred;”
I want YOUR recognition. I want, I want, I want,
I WANT TO LIE INSIDE YOUR ARMS; I want to smell your
Garden’s Roses.

BUT ALSO, please note: I wanna talk & talk & talk & talk & THINK &
Be SO WISE;
DON’T and DO NOT stop me; I wantTHE ULTIMATE PRIZE.
I want to DO THIS ALL and NOT be considered a pervert,
Or a sexual maladjust; I SHALL ELEVATE FROM “THE DIRT,”
From the Ground of This Existence and SOAR INTO THE SKY;
I AM: “SatanaEternal;” (1) I never want to cry; or (2) I always want to fly.
