๐Ÿ’ฅ Once a goat was grazing on the grassy slope of a hill near a stream.

It decided to taste the grass on the hills across. A narrow log served as a bridge across the stream.

While crossing the bridge, it saw another goat coming from the other side.

The bridge was so narrow that only one animal could cross the bridge at a time.

The first goat said to the other, “Let me pass first.” “You let me pass first”, snapped the other goat.

They started threatening each other and finally got into a terrible fight, so savagely that they lost their balance and fell into the stream.

The other goats grazing on the hills saw this spectacle and learned a lesson.

After a few days, two other goats faced the same problem. They happened to be on the bridge at the same time facing each other and unable to move further.

One goat said to the other, “I’ll sit down and you can step over my body.”

“Thank you.

Next time, I’ll sit down and let you cross first.”

Thus both of them were able to cross the bridge safely.

Temper Control ~ for Amber

๐Ÿฆ‹ There once was a little boy who had a bad temper.

๐Ÿฆ‹ His father gave him a bag of nails and told him that every time he lost his temper, he must hammer a nail into the fence.

๐Ÿฆ‹ On the first day, the boy had driven 37 nails into the fence. Over the next few weeks as he learned to control his anger, the number of nails hammered daily, gradually dwindled.

๐Ÿฆ‹ He discovered it was easier to hold his temper than to drive those nails into the fence.

๐Ÿฆ‹ Finally, the day came when the boy didnโ€™t lose his temper at all. He told his father about it and the father suggested that the boy now pull out one nail for each day that he was able to hold his temper. The days passed and the young boy was finally able to tell his father that all the nails were gone.

๐Ÿฆ‹ The father took his son by the hand and led him to the fence. He said โ€œyou have done well, my son, but look at the holes in the fence. The fence will never be the same. When you say things in anger, they leave a scar just like this one.โ€

๐Ÿฆ‹ You can put a knife in a man and draw it out. It wonโ€™t matter how many times you say Iโ€™m sorry, the wound is still there.

๐Ÿฆ‹ Make sure you control your temper the next time you are tempted to say something you will regret later.

Editor: Men suffer abuse too.

Unfortunately, it is a silent epidemic in Society.

Women suffer to and Children.

Scars never heal.

Lives are lost. A narcissistic personality disorder is usually the offender.

Broken Soul

How Did You Feel

Well its taken years to tell anyone how l feel so when l listen with my โค๏ธ to anyone l give time for people to tell me anything in their own time as in any case l am not as important as they are this is their life and suffering not mine ๐Ÿ•Š๏ธ

So for the first time ever let me tell you about being a ‘ Man Abuse By A Woman ‘ who l forgive for all she did to me during the 11yrs it took to help her and one day realized she could not be helped anymore ๐Ÿ•Š๏ธ

Anyway it all began whilst working at the same office and we met and l took her out for what was called a date – and it was only then later l found out she had ditched her boyfriend and went out with me that night and as l now know – alarm bells should have been ringing but l wore my โค๏ธ on the sleeve kinda guy and believed everyone was like me – it would take many years to know they are not – anyway here’s my story ๐Ÿ˜”

We dated for a short-while and eventually began living together as we got on quite well – not as l was to find as well as l first thought – firstly may l say that even though l was abused she had suffered – not knowing her father and even though it does not justify her actions it does help people reading this to understand it is both Man & Woman who abused by circumstances in his or her life ๐Ÿ•Š๏ธ

Anyway soon after we moved in together abuse began by what l now call ‘ Intimidation ‘ and making me feel l was always in the wrong and she never was and this increased as she took control of my life eroding me – l will repeat Me – when anyone does that to someone else You disappear from view and as a person do not ‘ Exist ‘ anymore as you ‘ Do Not Matter ‘ ๐Ÿ˜”

This abuse involved – her saying you are causing me to be like this and you take no blame l took total blame for her being like she was and every time l ‘ Forgave Her ‘ for everything and all she did and just a few and more maybe later l will mention here to maybe help people in their future not to ‘ Blame Themselves ‘ ๐Ÿ˜”

The worst was when she would regularly threaten me with a ‘ Carving Knife ‘ to the neck and neck other parts of my body below the waist – laughing and threatening to cut them off – at the time l did not react just took the ‘ Verbal Abuse ‘ believing l deserved it and then she would say you ‘ Do Not Love Me Anymore ‘ and would apologize and in some cases go to the ‘ Bathroom ‘ and threatened to ‘ Commit Suicide ‘ and l would remove the door and get in and she would just ‘ Laugh ‘ and say that scared you – another argument and calm until next time ๐Ÿ•Š๏ธ

But still the same more threats – lies, and spending of all of my money and keeping hers for herself that got worst l paid everything and bought everything and she would use every penny she earned saying that mine if l ever asked ๐Ÿ•Š๏ธ

When we went out she drank – l drove and had no alcohol and before we left she ‘ Told Me ‘ what to say – Do not say that or this about our relationship when we are out with my brother and his girlfriend and of course l was so confused and spoke out of turn – dreading getting home and more verbal abuse – she would glare at me and l knew – got home more drink and more threats with a ‘ Knife ‘ and blame lies with me – Never her ๐Ÿ•Š๏ธ

This is the part of my story and the part that l titled – ‘ How Did I Feel ‘ well that did not matter and it was only years later l was able to even say anything about ‘ How l Felt ‘ as the ‘ Pain Hid It In Me ‘ and God brought me to someone who would ‘ Love Me For I Am ‘ and with Kindness & Love XX โค๏ธโค๏ธ helped me to see l am worthwhile and not at fault for who she was and who she may still be – So Today l ๐Ÿ™๐Ÿ™ for her today to get the same ‘ Help & Guidance ‘ l have been given – More soon

Real Learning Defined

Real Learning is learning as a life skill

It is learning from experience

From other people

From work

From feedback and courses and workshops

Real Learning begins when you Discover a new idea

Assess it for worthiness

Act upon it

Reflect on it and perhaps share it with others

You are learning all the time

Taking in new information and making sense of it

You learn by doing

Through conversations

And from the school of hard knocks

The basic difference is that explicit knowledge adds to what you know

Knowledge transforms who you are

And knowing who you are is what helps you grow
into all, you want to be

Email ๐Ÿ“ฅ

โ˜˜๏ธ A jobless man applied for the position of โ€˜office boyโ€™ at a very big company.

โ˜˜๏ธ The employer interviewed him, then a test: clean the floor. โ€œYou are hired.โ€ โ€“ the employer said. โ€œGive me your email address, and Iโ€™ll send you the application to fill, as well as when you will start.โ€ The man replied, โ€œI donโ€™t have a computer, neither an email.โ€ โ€œIโ€™m sorry,โ€ said the employer, โ€œif you donโ€™t have an email that means you do not exist.

โ˜˜๏ธ And who doesnโ€™t exist, cannot have the job.โ€ The man left with no hope. He didnโ€™t know what to do, with only USD 10 in his pocket. He then decided to go to the supermarket, bought a 10kg tomato crate, then sold the tomatoes door to door. In less than two hours, he succeeded and doubled his capital.

โ˜˜๏ธHe repeated the operation 3 times and returned home with USD 60.

โ˜˜๏ธThe man realized that he could survive in this way, and started to go every day earlier, and returned late. Thus, his money doubled or tripled every day.

โ˜˜๏ธShortly later, he bought a cart, then a truck, and then he had his fleet of delivery vehicles. Five years later, the manโ€™s company was one of the biggest food retailers.

โ˜˜๏ธ He started to plan his familyโ€™s future and decided to have life insurance. He called an insurance broker and chose a protection plan. When the conversation was concluded, the broker asked him his email. The man replied: โ€œI donโ€™t have an email.โ€ The broker replied curiously, โ€œYou donโ€™t have an email, and yet have succeeded to build an empire.

โ˜˜๏ธ Do you imagine what you could have done if you had an email?โ€ The man paused for a while, and replied: โ€œAn office boy!โ€โ˜˜๏ธ

Donโ€™t be discouraged if something is not in your favor today.โ˜˜๏ธ

Better opportunities are waiting ahead.๐Ÿƒ

Prayer ๐Ÿ™

Let the LORD, the God of the spirits of all flesh, set a man over the congregation, Which may go out before them, and which may go in before them, and which may lead them out, and which may bring them in; that the congregation of the LORD be not as sheep which have no shepherd.

In the Old Testament, God appointed someone to go before His people and mediate between them and God. Someone to lead them so that they were not lost with no shepherd. In the New Testament, Jesus came to mediate between God and man. He is our shepherd and mediator. He makes it so we can stand before God.
Lord, You always provide for Your people. Before Jesus came, You appointed someone to lead Your people. Then later, You sent Your Son to be the great shepherd. Thank you for always providing a way for us. Thank you for caring for us. You are truly good and merciful. In Jesus' name. Amen.๐Ÿ™

Parable ๐Ÿ•Š๏ธ Self Pity ๐Ÿ•Š๏ธ

This parable is told of a farmer who owned an old mule.

The mule fell into the farmerโ€™s well. The farmer heard the mule praying or whatever mules do when they fall into wells.

After carefully assessing the situation, the farmer sympathized with the mule, but decided that neither the mule nor the well was worth the trouble of saving.

Instead, he called his neighbors together, told them what had happened, and enlisted them to help haul dirt to bury the old mule in the well and put him out of his misery.

Initially, the old mule was hysterical! But as the farmer and his neighbors continarued shoveling and the dirt hit his back, a thought struck him.

It suddenly dawned on him that every time a shovel load of dirt landed on his back, HE WOULD SHAKE IT OFF AND STEP UP!

This he did, blow after blow. โ€œShake it off and step upโ€ฆ shake it off and step upโ€ฆ shake it off and step up!โ€ He repeated to encourage himself. No matter how painful the blows, or how distressing the situation seemed, the old mule fought panic and just kept right on SHAKING IT OFF AND STEPPING UP!

It wasnโ€™t long before the old mule, battered and exhausted, stepped triumphantly over the wall of that well!

What seemed like it would bury him actually helped him โ€ฆ all because of how he handled his adversity.

THATโ€™S LIFE! If we face our problems and respond to them positively, and refuse to give in to panic, bitterness, or self-pity.

Be Generous ๐Ÿ˜”

๐Ÿ˜” On his deathbed, Aldous Huxley reflected on his entire life’s learning and then summed it up in seven simple words:

All too often we believe that to live a truly fulfilling life we must achieve some great act or grand feat that will put us on the front covers of magazines and newspapers.๐Ÿ˜”

Nothing could be further from the truth.๐Ÿ˜”

A meaningful life is made up of a series of daily acts of decency & kindness which adds up to something great throughout a lifetime. ๐Ÿ˜”

๐Ÿ˜” Everyone who enters your life has a lesson to teach & a story to tell.

Every person you pass during the moments that make up your days represents an opportunity to show a little more of the compassion & courtesy that defines your humanity.๐Ÿ˜”

๐Ÿ˜” Why not start being more of the person you truly are during your days & doing what you can to enrich the world around you?

In my mind, ๐Ÿ˜”

If you make even one ๐Ÿ˜”person smile during your day or brighten the mood of even one stranger, your day has been a worthwhile one.

๐Ÿ˜” “kindness quite simply is the rent we must pay for the space we occupy on this planet ”

๐Ÿ˜” Become more creative in the ways you show compassion to strangers.

๐Ÿ˜” Paying the toll for the person in the car behind you, offering your seat on the subway, and being the first to say hello are great places to start.

Be Generous ๐Ÿ˜”๐Ÿ˜”

God needs you to understand ~

On this day of your life, I believe God wants you to know that trust is not necessary when you don't want or need anything.๐Ÿ•Š๏ธ
If you are wondering whether you can "trust" someone, look closely at what it is you think you need or want from them.๐Ÿ•Š๏ธ
When you need or want nothing, trust is not an alternative issue.๐Ÿ•Š๏ธ
And, of course, there is nothing that you do need, from anybody, given Who and What You Are.๐Ÿ•Š๏ธ
You are an expression of Divinity Itself, and Divinity exists your Source.๐Ÿ•Š๏ธ
Believing that you "need" anything, given that this is so, would be nothing more than a misunderstanding.๐Ÿ•Š๏ธ
