The Best Seed ๐ชด
There once was a farmer who grew the most excellent wheat. ๐ชด
Every season he won the award for the best wheat in his county.๐ชด
A wise woman came to him to ask him ๐ชด
About his success. ๐ชด
He told her that the key was sharing his best seed with his neighbours so they could also plant it. ๐ชด
The wise woman asked, “How can you share your best wheat seed with your neighbours when they complete with you every year?”๐ชด
“That’s simple,” the farmer replied.๐ชด
“The wind spreads the pollen from everyone’s wheat and carries it from field to field. ๐ชด
“If my neighbors grew inferior wheat, cross-pollination would degrade everyone’s wheat, including mine. ๐ชด
“If I’m to grow the best wheat, I must help my neighbours grow the best wheat as well.” ๐ชด
This is not only excellent advice for growing the best crops but also great advice for how to live your life. ๐ชด

And we have known and believed the love that God hath to us. God is love, and he that dwelleth in love dwelleth in God, and God in him.
God dwells in us as a result of His Love. How does He dwell in us? Through His Spirit. We have accepted the Spirit of God to reside in us, and this means that we are now subjected to his counsel and his guidance. We are not slaves to our selfish cravings or desires. We can now rise above them and live according to the way of the Spirit.

It’s the classic bully scene. Opie Taylor (The Andy Griffith Show) faces the bully who has been extorting his milk money. Opie faces his fear and braces for the punch. Thenโฆhe laughs. He realizes that his worst fear has come to pass and it was not a big deal. He takes matters into his own hands and “tears into” the bully. In the end, he gets his nickels back. He has conquered. Any bully works the same way. Satan is no different. When we stand up to him, prepared to battle him, he has to “flee.” When we resist him, we prove that we aren’t afraid of him. He realizes that he has no chance with us, so he just leaves us alone. We emerge as conquerorsโฆnoโฆmore than conquerors.
Lord, I thank You for giving me the courage to stand up to the enemy, and I thank You for being there to back me up. When I am strong in You, I have the power to resist Satan and I know he has to flee. Amen.๐
