#AceDailyNews – The drone, flying at 1,000 meters, crashed seven minutes after entering Croatia’s air space on March 10, the Croatian government said at the time.

A Soviet-era reconnaissance drone that crashed in Croatia’s capital Zagreb last month carried a bomb that exploded after hitting the ground, a panel of experts say.

The investigators did not want to reveal the drone’s intended target or who had sent it, but Hungary had said that the Tupolev TU-141 drone was detected by radar in Hungarian airspace after being detected over Ukraine, and had entered Hungary via Romanian air space.

Both Hungary and Croatia are NATO members.

The incident occurred two weeks after Russia invaded Ukraine.

Authorities have declined to say who might have sent the drone and why, saying it was part of a defence ministry investigation.(AP: Darko Bandic)none

A detailed analysis of metal fragments showed the drone was carrying an OFAB 100-120 aerial bomb when it hit the ground because of parachute failure.

But no traces of military explosives such as TNT were found on it, Ivana Bacic, an expert on explosives, told a news briefing in Zagreb.

Instead, the bomb was carrying unconventional organic powder which was reduced to gas in the explosion so was impossible to identify, Mr Bacic said.

investigators said they had not yet conclusively determined which side in the war in Ukraine launched the Tu-141 drone, that was originally used in surveillance missions.

But they indicated the Ukrainians were more likely to be behind the launch, as “fresh” paint traces of their blue and yellow flag were found on the pieces of the wreckage, which also included a red star, the Russian air force marking.

Both Russia and Ukraine have denied launching it.

NATO officials have refused to comment on the incident until an investigation is completed.

The alliance has increased its surveillance flights over countries near the war zone

Investigators said 96 vehicles were damaged by the explosion near Jarun lake in Zagreb.

“The world knows what Serbian government is” Conversation with former deacon of the Serbian Orthodox Church Bojan Jovanovic

Bojan JovanovicPHOTO: Screenshot Project Velebit

Serbia is shamelessly standing close to Russia at this time of the brutal Russian aggression against Ukraine and as I said in one of my previous blogs such a support would, in their eyes, feed well into Serbia’s own denials of its brutal aggression in 1990’s against Croatia and Bosnia and Herzegovina. On the one hand Serbia holds its arm extended to the EU for membership and with the other hand it reaches out to Russia, which reeks of opposition to EU and NATO! Well, Serbian government and the Serbian Orthodox Church have always been like peas in a pod, working in unison on matters of politics and political operations so I decided to look for credible texts and opinions regarding this and found this interview with Bojan Jovanovic.  I trust you will learn much from this interview.

Interviewer: Davor Dijanović

Interview in the Croatian language first published on March 11, 2022, on the Croatian Cultural Council portal

Translation of the interview into English: Ina Vukic

“It seems that the citizens of Serbia, no matter how intimately they want to become part of the European Union, every day they are one step further away from that desire and, that idea. The biggest obstacle are the choices they constantly make of people in whose hands they place their destiny.  The choices are about the elite that despises human dignity, and that contempt seems to be a patriotic obligation” – says the former deacon of the Serbian Orthodox Church, Bojan Jovanovic, with whom we spoke briefly.

What class or layer of Serbian society governs Serbia?

Serbia is run by disguised UDBA agencies (TN: Former Communist Yugoslavia State Security Services), guided solely by their own interests. They have introduced a kind of soft dictatorship with which they affirm content that sounds nice to the ears, but in this way they lead citizens to the acceptance of seemingly simple solutions, when, in fact, it is about accepting sheer despotism. With this despotism, individuals create a compromise to their own detriment only to later wonder why things are the way they are for them.

The (TN: self-proclaimed) “heavenly people” seem to be in a kind of collective paranoia, and everything described leads that people into a vicious circle from which it is difficult to get out. In it, it is increasingly more difficult to present arguments of formed opinions, and it is especially difficult to fight against something that you consider already defeated. There is no way forward in Serbia until we realise that we are waging the wrong war. The war we should be waging should be a war of liberation from various people who are opportunely patriotic, but who are well trained in waging a profiteering battle against their own people.

What is the role of the Serbian Orthodox Church in such a gloomy state of Serbian society that you describe?

If you look at the history of the Serbian Orthodox Church, which lives a legacy of a kind of peasant piety, you will realise that this is the biggest opposition to the Serbian Orthodox Church’s positive changes. The clergy of the Serbian Orthodox Church largely live a life that does not suit them, and therefore the key question is: is the Serbian Orthodox Church at all what it should be. That is, is it the church that its pious believers want. The Serbian Orthodox Church ignores the fact that, like all of us, it has its ups and downs and that all members of its clergy know how to make mistakes. It would be Christian to admit it and repent. God is merciful. But it is not Christian to continue living in sin. Unfortunately, many members of the SOC hierarchy do what is diabolical, disgusting and carries with it the stench of abuse of power and status. The assessment mark for such (in) humanity and “Christianity” is “sit down, fail!”

With its behaviour, the Serbian Orthodox Church allows people beyond God’s and human laws to be role models for children and participates in creating chaos by combining psychosis and false hopes for a better life. The Serbian Orthodox Church is flying on the wings of the world to which it should have said “goodbye” a long time ago. It, as such, cannot be a messenger in the fields of the Lord.

Does the Serbian Orthodox Church have a role in the so-called Serbian world project?

The group of “adventurers” has been ravaging Serbia for decades and does not understand the time in which it lives. They did not even remotely dream that they would land in the Belgrade pashadom and that they would fall from their hard stance to begging for crumbs. From all that they could show, they only demonstrated that their fear is eternal. Because of this petty fear, fear for their own positions, they had to put the sword back in its sheath, that is, stop sending other people’s children to their deaths, and now they are silent like bugs. Despite this, they sometimes scream, especially when kneeling with their bare knees on corn. The world knows that the Serbian government is a dog that would like to bite even when you feed it.

Through several decades of compromising the clergy linked to pedophilia scandals and other criminal activities, the Serbian Orthodox Church has fallen into the hands of political adventurers who can return the church to the margins of society with the help of a pen. In addition to becoming the main beacon of the political project of the so-called Serbian world, the Serbian Orthodox Church, with its destructive activities, is causing problems for the entire region by abusing God’s mission. Its connections with criminal groups should also be examined in detail, and more and more people are writing and talking about it.

Now the Serbian Orthodox Church is a destructive element, a kind of paramilitary political institution whose main goal is to deny the statehood, ethnic and cultural heritage of other peoples, as well as to deny and humiliate every feature of others.

I don’t think there is a place in the world where one religious community does not respect the other and rejects the worldly government in the country in which it operates. This was first of all felt by Montenegro, partly by Bosnia and Herzegovina, and almost by Croatia. Fortunately, the Serbian Orthodox Church is recognised as the infrastructure of the criminal Greater Serbia project of the Serbian world, and very soon its work will find itself under an attack by the public and relevant institutions in those countries.

Porphyry in Zagreb, Porphyry in Belgrade. The same person or?

Serbia is constantly going downhill, there is no stabilisation. With the “Porphyry” project, the Serbian Orthodox Church is even further from spiritual catharsis and renewal because, like some disaster, it brought in a huge amount of sediment in a very short time.

Porphyry’s message to both Zagreb and Belgrade is that we can agree on everything in Christian love, but only if it suits him and his family. The choosing of Porphyry had as its goal the rehabilitation of the defeated movements and the denying their crimes. Porphyry is not a dove of peace. He is a mini project of Aleksandar Vucic. A black stain in the black history of the SOC. The only fortune for both Serbia and the entire region is that he will soon be the former patriarch of the Serbian Orthodox Church. Political and other winds that are now blowing in the direction of Serbia from the West promise rapid changes, especially in the Serbian Orthodox Church.

What is the attitude of the Serbian Orthodox Church towards the Russian Orthodox Church and its activities?

The Russians and the Russian Orthodox Church in fact despise the traitors of the betrayed state and treat Serbia, the Serbian government, and the Serbian Orthodox Church accordingly. They use our shame to destabilise the Balkans and achieve their goals.

On the other hand, the Serbian Orthodox Church is trying to be better in its profession, and its profession is subservience to the corruption of the Serbian government. This subservience is an attempt to justify all the shame and socially immature situations. Fraternal hand licking, especially the Russian one, is an attempt to survive for as long as possible and so on until a new opportune moment and a new legal and political framework. In a word, we give you submissiveness and cowardice, you give us the “wisdom” with which you can always mobilise us for some new hell.

What is the Serbian Orthodox Church attitude towards the Russian aggression against Ukraine?

Instead of seeking justice for the victims, all of whom are victims of the war started by Russia, the Serbian Orthodox Church, with its hypocritical silence and other actions, has stood by its powerful protector from whom it evidently receives its glaze. A large part of the clergy of the Serbian Orthodox Church is driven by a desire for power, a desire for domination over man. This borders on psychological disorder.

A few days ago, Porphyry stated that the Serbian Orthodox Church is collecting aid for the Ukrainian Orthodox Church, and in fact that aid will end up in the hands of the Russian Metropolitan in Kyiv. The Serbian Orthodox Church does not recognise the Ukrainian Orthodox Church, which became the Autocephalous Tomos of the Ecumenical Patriarch, it only recognises the part that is under the Russian paw.

In conclusion, I can say that the Serbian Orthodox Church is an organisation that works against the interests of its people and state. It is terrible that this sick ideology is being legalised within state bodies. Numerous documents testify to the grave manipulations and atrocities of part of the Serbian Orthodox Church. In a civilised society, such atrocities would be promptly sanctioned. Considering that this will not happen in Serbia for political and other reasons, the Serbian Orthodox Church will have to go through a kind of pedagogical awareness due to the pressure of the surrounding world. The world knows what the Serbian government is.

CROATIA: New Film Help Build A Roadmap – Croatian Studies Zagreb By Inavukic

This is our daily post that is shared across Twitter & Telegram and published first on here with Kindness & Love ❤️❤️ on My.Daz.blog

New Film – Help Build A Roadmap For Croatia’s Future – Croatian Studies Zagreb

IFilms/Croatian Film Institute new film – Croatian studies/ Studies in Demography and Croatian Diaspora

The Croatian Film Institute (Texas, USA) announces a new short film directed by Nikola Knez (President of iFilms LLC,USA and Chair of Board of Directors of the Croatian Film Institute, entitled “Study of Demography and Croatian Emigration”, which you can watch on the institute’s website http://www.hfi.mobi, more precisely at http://hfi.mobi/page-45.html or

University professors and students from the Faculty of Croatian Studies, University of Zagreb, in this short film of about 17 minutes duration, share their vision of the mission of a new academic discipline that addresses the effect of emigration of generations of talented Croatians on their beautiful homeland. They extend a heartfelt, inspiring invitation to youth and émigrés to join and support their new program–Demography & Croatian Emigration–at the University of Zagreb. This field of study prepares a future generation of policymakers, researchers and professionals who will use scientific projections and models to make decisions in the best interest of people, shifting away from political stalemates and power struggles that have hampered the country’s progress and created a 21st century diaspora of the best and brightest.

“In this film, university professors and students share their vision in a new academic discipline that deals with the problem of emigration of generations of talented Croats from their beautiful homeland, the Republic of Croatia. Despite having all the natural and human components for the successful development of society there is a political status quo between forces that want to fully embrace a democratic, productive, demographically inclusive free market economy and those seeking only their own interests, rooted in the past of privileged communist elites.

This has resulted in growing dissatisfaction of the population with state decision-making and governance, tolerant officials and thus promote eligibility over quality, and corruption over transparency and accountability. All this leads to the stagnation of democratic, economic, and demographic development and the emigration of a large number of young people. In an attempt to scientifically solve this problem and for science to offer solutions that would determine the future of the Croatian state in this aspect, the University of Zagreb established the Croatian Studies, and recently the Department of Demography and Croatian Emigration.

Therefore, professors and students extend a cordial, inspiring invitation to young people and the diaspora to join and support their new program – the Study of Demography and Croatian Emigration – at the Croatian Studies, University of Zagreb. This study prepares future generations of public policy makers, researchers and experts who will use scientific projections and models for decision-making in the best interest of the Croatian people.

On the website of the Croatian Film Institute, in addition to film, you also have a link to studies so that all those who are interested in this topic can directly contact and see opportunities for study or other types of participation.

The aim and goal of the Croatian Film Institute is to inform and encourage cooperation and qualitative action to stop the emigration process, stimulate the return process and to build Croats together, across the diaspora and in the homeland to build a better, better and happier Croatian state. ourselves and the whole world,” says the iFilms/Croatian Film Institute Press Release January 2022.

Entrance to Faculty of Croatian Studies University of Zagreb

According to the latest census from 2021, there are just over 3.88 million people living in Croatia. Croatia has lost 395,360 inhabitants in the last 10 years. This negative trend of depopulation indicates the importance of the Study of Demography and Croatian Emigration. It is expected that the Government of the Republic of Croatia will take urgent and decisive measures for the benefit of Croatia and the Croatian people, which will alleviate the outflow of population if it does not stop it completely.

While improving in many spheres of living Croatia still lags behind other developed countries in the realisation of its potentials. Population is the key factor in the development of a nation, of its society and space. The demographic problem Croatia has been facing for quite some time (e.g. the fall of natality rate, large emigration or exodus numbers of people etc) had become an urgent problem to solve and, hence in 2019 University of Zagreb had founded the Faculty of Croatian Studies via which the demographic problem has been lifted to academic level. While Croatian studies stream had soon after becoming an independent state, since 1992, existed as part of larger Faculties of the University of Zagreb it was thus almost three decades after becoming an independent state that Croatia had opened a new, distinct, and dedicated avenue of studying and perhaps coming up with solutions in addressing demographic problems, including studying one of the richest diasporas in the world relative to the population numbers in the homeland. The short film tells us that this new Faculty, Croatian Studies, had set the directions of its activities. And they are:

  1. Research and study the Croatian society, its population, culture, and its diaspora
  2. To create scientific knowledge about the Croatian civilisational and historical heritage that contributes to the development of an independent Croatian state that nurtures Croatian national and cultural identity in the European and world context.
  3. Research current demographic and migration trends and their consequences.

The key role in this scientific project would essentially need to have and head the newly formed department of demography and Croatian diaspora.  Doc dr. sc. Stjepan Sterc, an assistant professor of that department considers that “the Croatian diaspora is the wealth of Croatia and that the total development of Croatia must be founded on the functioning of the domicile and emigrated populations and on that basis, we have formed the study streams within this Faculty so that we may best be able to acquaint ourselves with all aspects of associated issues…”

The study of demography and Croatian emigration is a scientific novelty at Croatian universities vis-a-vis importance and general interest and in terms of importance for Croatia and emigration issues.

Doc. dr. sc. Gordan Rados Photo: Screenshot iFilms/Croatian Film Institute

Doc. dr. sc. Goran Rados, assistant professor, says: “It took many years for the study to be established, although phenomenology had been studied for emigration for a long time. In the last seven or eight years, there have been significant movements of emigrants, but in a bad direction, which means that Croats have begun to emigrate from Croatia more than they immigrate to Croatia. These phenomena can be studied at the study from all aspects – economic, political, legal … mainly through social interdisciplinary sciences …”

In the past ten years and according to the Census 2021 Croatia has lost around 400,000 of its people mainly due to emigration but also due to the fall in natality rate etc. Given that Croatia had a population of 4.2 million from the last census the recorded loss calculates to 10% of the total loss of population in ten years. The force of high emigration in recent years has begun to jeopardise and threaten the fundamental systems upon which the Croatian state rests. With the current population of Croatia being 3.8 million it is without a doubt that the population of people of Croatian descent through to, say, fifth generation,  living in the diaspora is far greater than the population living in Croatian.

Doc. dr. sc. Wollfy Krasic Photo: Screenshot iFilms/Croatian Film Institute

Doc.dr.sc. Wollfy Krašić, assistant professor, says: “The aim of this study is to attract young Croats from all over the world to come here to study and then stay in Croatia or return to their communities and then be guardians and promoters of Croatian national identity, culture and language.”Doc. dr.sc. Stjepan Sterc Photo: Screenshot iFilms/Croatian Film INstitute

Doc. Dr. sc. Stjepan Sterc: “So this is a very beautiful story that is extremely important to direct towards Croatian emigrants so that Croatian emigrants see that we here have not forgotten, among other things, what they did with their idealism towards Croatia in the 1990s and what they do every year through remittances sent very extensive through the financial system of the Republic of Croatia and larger than all modes of foreign investment. This only proves that this idealism in the emigration still exists and that it is only a question of the political attitude towards them as it will look like in the future.”

FEATURED: Croatia: Yugoslav Communists Lying About Croatian Independence Movements By Ina Vukic

You simply know that your country’s president is a devastating and appalling waste of space when it comes to honouring the people’s wish for independence from communist Yugoslavia and your people’s fight for that independence by the persons he chooses to represent him at various events, who are equally a waste of space.

@acenewsservices

During the past week Croatia’s President Zoran Milanovic sent as his representative the former President of Croatia, the former President of communist Yugoslavia (Stjepan Mesic) to the commemoration of victims of the Danica camp in WWII Croatia (where communists and Serbs say 5,000 people perished but any history written by Yugoslav communists cannot be trusted, even though only one victim is one too many)! That message says a great deal. Milanovic knows that Stjepan Mesic is the leader of the pack when it comes to liars and that he was a war profiteer, scavenging away into his own pockets bundles of funds donated by the Croatian diaspora for humanitarian needs of victims of the 1990’s Serb aggression against Croatia and for defence of Croatia. Part of evidence for the latter has certainly surfaced in a civil court case in the city of Split between 2017 – 2019.

Written & Published By: Ina Vukic

Zoran Milanovic (L) Stjepan Mesic (R) Photos: Screenshots

But despite the evidence and testimonies presented in that court that strongly indicate that Stjepan Mesic did engage in criminal activities of war-profiteering, none of that evidence or indications seem to have been referred to or directed to the office of public prosecutor by the court in Split. But then again, Croatia is no full democracy. It still protects communist thieves and liars that define Croatia on basis of corruption.

And so, Mesic said at Danica site last week: “I hope that the Ustasha movement will stop one day, and then it will stop if we remember these events which are facts, which cannot be changed, because in history only what happened, happened.”

Then he went on to say: “The state government should first of all stop financing those who falsify history, such as those who claim that the Jasenovac camp continued to function after 1945: This is a notorious lie.

Had Mesic, forgetful of his own previous statements, not here labeled himself as a notorious liar, one might be tempted to believe him but it is terribly difficult to believe him when he, himself, is one of those leading people of former Yugoslavia who revealed to the world that Jasenovac camp did remain open after WWII ended and in there innocent Croatian people who fought for independent Croatia were murdered and exterminated at the hands of Yugoslav communists. Now he wants people who promote that fact to be cut off from financial help! He obviously forgets what he says from day to day. Not because of some problem with Alzheimer’s disease but because he is a person that will say and do anything in order to promote the criminal regime of former communist Yugoslavia, or, if circumstance so demands – “suck up” to the other political side for personal gain.

In 2017, Stjepan Mesic stated publicly: “Don’t be fooled, Jasenovac worked two years after the war. There are many Croats buried deep there. We will now ask for those graves to be dug up, and you will see that they are Home Guards and Ustashas. We will have to bring a world commission to see that. Tito knew that it was a forgery … in order to get bigger reparations. He was never in Jasenovac,” said Mesic, who called Jasenovac a labor camp, not a concentration camp as others have painted it.

If Croatia’s Stjepan Mesic, President Zoran Milanovic, Prime Minister Andrej Plenkovic – none of whom ever fought for Croatian independence and democracy but in one way or another fought against it, and still do, ensuring they hold well-paid positions they do not deserve nor have the skills to perform at successfully – think and say that Ustasha movement still exists in Croatia and its diaspora, they would in certain ways be right! Of course, the WWII Ustasha movement as per organised political force does not exist and it hasn’t existed for many decades as a formal movement since it was disbanded soon after WWII ended. What does exist today is the independence of Croatia ideology and “movement”, which, of course has, in that sense, close similarities to what the Ustasha movement was for Croatia during WWII. Independence from Yugoslavia. Mesic knows that and that is what bothers him as it does all his communist Yugoslavia “pals”! He has always worked towards running down and crushing the glory of Croatian people’s victory during 1990’s in succeeding to free themselves from the chains of communist Yugoslavia. When he became President in 2000, one of his first moves was to retire some 20 Generals of the Croatian Army and Croatian Defence Council – to cut them down, to cut down as much as he could the independence movement even though Croatia had already won its independence. But it still had a job to finish during peace time: to lustrate Croatia of communists in power.

Ah, someone might say: but WWII Ustasha movement had Racial laws in place and many victims were generated because of it! It did! But so did almost all other countries throughout the world at one stage or another. Just check the facts of 20th century history, and before, you will find even today the remnants of such utterly depraved laws and practices; Camps, Reservations, stolen land, stolen generations, mass graves, “Whites Only”, …  The world is full of destitution and dead bodies because of it. The important thing in my mind is that every era bought its own way of achieving national goals, and many were not pretty nor justifiable, but in the historical context they fit into the order things were done by all our ancestors. Not that this justifies historical deeds that ruined lives, but it does serve as a platform upon which we learn lessons of a better future.

What is happening in Croatia, though, is that former communist operatives are using examples of historical crimes, alleged crimes and fabricated crimes to cover up and bury the glorious efforts for independence and self-determination. They will not succeed if people at large have anything to do with it. WWII Croatia and its Ustasha movement fought for independence from Yugoslavia and in that the occupying German forces were a propping hand, however critical of that we may be; in 1990’s Croatian people fought for independence from Yugoslavia on their own. And that is the beauty of it. That is what communists like Stjepan Mesic are trying hard to dishonour. They will not succeed. The word Ustasha in essence means “rise against oppression”. Stjepan Mesic doesn’t like that. Well, tough luck for that decrepit man of “politics”, the movement of rising against the very idea of Yugoslavia is here to stay. Even in peace time. Why? Because it was oppression itself, it was criminal and murderous, it was garbage! It only served best those in Communist Party positions, the rest just lived day by day or fled out of that existential misery. It is to be hoped that Croatia will not end up like Yugoslavia even if there are no serious signs of lustration on the horizon yet to stop such misfortune. Lustrating former communists in authority or high positions within former Yugoslavia would, of course, be the ideal answer to all the problems afflicting Croatia negatively on the path of full democracy. Failing that there is always the heart that cries out for independence and truth to rely upon.
