PEACE & TRUTH

Lord I pray for Peace on Earth ๐Ÿ™๐Ÿ™

Don’t worry about the people God removed from your life. He heard conversations you didn’t, saw things you couldn’t and made moves you wouldn’t. Amen ๐Ÿ™

The LORD God is my strength, and he will make my feet like hinds’ feet, and he will make me to walk upon mine high places. To the chief singer on my stringed instruments.

Amen

Almost no animal is as coordinated and sure-footed as a hind (deer). ๐Ÿ•Š๏ธ

A deer running on difficult terrain is an incredible sight to behold. ๐Ÿ•Š๏ธ

With God as a guide, we can run with agility through any rocky terrain. ๐Ÿ•Š๏ธ

Use me in any way that You see fit for Your divine plan, O Lord. Carry me on any path and I shall trust the way, for I know You love me and Your intentions are always for the best for me. I shall not fear when the terrain is rough, my faith will not quake based on any conditions. For You are the one true God, and the love of my life. Amen. ๐Ÿ™๐Ÿ™
AMEN ๐Ÿ™๐Ÿ™

Moses came down from the mountain and told the people what the Lord had commanded. They all said, Okay! No problem! As we shall see in a few days, that didn’t last long. The Israelites said yes over and over to God, and then said, no, over and over again. So much like us! It’s a good thing God forgives us over and over again. It is always interesting to read the full account of the commandments and their amplified meaning in Exodus, because it gives an idea of what the civilization was like in those days. The commandments were not all totally new as many of them were based on the code of Hammurabi. The first three commandments were new as they listed the proper behavior towards God. The other seven concerned social behavior and social structure. So, what’s the difference between Hammurabi’s code and the Ten Commandments other that the first three? The difference is in the why. We don’t obey the commandments because the promote civility within society; we obey them because this is what God has called us to do. Regardless of the punishments proscribed in Exodus for different offenses, we are called to obey God. Period! It is the same today with Jesus law of love which calls for us to work for justice, help the poor, etc. We don’t help others because it’s a nice thing to do, ever though it is, we do it because we are called as Christians to take care of one another. Why do you obey, why do I? Is it because we want to avoid punishment, or because it’s the right thing to do.

Amen ๐Ÿ™๐Ÿ™

Life is like a bunch of roses. Some sparkle like raindrops. Some fade when there's no sun. Some just fade away in time. Some dance in many colors. Some drop with hanging wings. Some make you fall in love. The beauty is in the eye of the beholder. Life you can be sure of, you will not get out ALIVE.(sorry about that)
