Some people make you hurt

With the stupid games they play

Their only aim in life

Is to have everything their way

They don’t care about who you are

And what you’re feeling means even less

As long as they are happy.

They’ll take what they want and leave a mess

They can make you hate yourself

Even though you are worth so much more

Because they make.

you doubt

To see who they are for sure your ability

When you’re such an open book

And give yourself so openly

It’s really hard to remember

Others don’t value honesty

So they shred your heart to pieces

They leave it scattered on the floor

And it’s not what they’ve done that hurts you

But that you got it wrong once more

They make you hate yourself

For being a decent human being it’s really hard to remember

That you’re a gift they aren’t worth getting

So my advice to You may you be this take or leave it as you please

But you shouldn’t let these people

Emotionally drag you to your knees

Keep your head held high Keep your spirit honest and strong

For one day they’ll look back

And miss you when you’re gone.
