The narcissist is looking for narcissistic supply, you are looking for love.
The narcissist is looking to win and be right, you are looking to communicate.
The narcissist is looking for control while you are looking for mutual respect.
You are on different pages from the beginning, you want completely different things.
The problem is they lie about their agenda, they make you think they want the same things you do.
A healthy relationship is one where the two people involved are getting their needs met.
This is not even close to happening with a narcissist.
You have to understand all the dreams they sold you were just illusions.
They were mirroring back to you, yourself.
They were never that person to, begin with.
