Forgiveness must be immediate, whether or not a person asks for it. Trust must be rebuilt over time. Trust requires a track record. If someone hurts you repeatedly, you are commanded by God to forgive them instantly. Still, you are not expected to trust them immediately, and you are not likely to continue allowing them to hurt you.

Don't focus on what you've lost; focus on what you have left. Nobody has taken the blessing from you. You are blessed in the city and blessed in the country. You are blessed going in and blessed coming out. That means you are blessed when things are going your way and blessed when they’re not going your way. You’re blessed in the palace and blessed in the pit. You are blessed when people are good to you and blessed when they’re trying to stop you. Here’s the key: the blessing did not come from people, so it cannot be taken away by people!
