I’m just gone, gone, gone 👨‍⚖️

“I’M JUST SO GONE!” a poem a.k.a.: “We’d I Go?” July 27 2019 (Saturday)

I never know where a poem might go –

Or-if the-style

Will make me smile!

It is LIKE LIFE! (pause) Such-a sym-pho-ny,

IT makes a-“composer” – out-of-me!

BUT-I’m-just-ONE! who’s-deaf-blind-&-dumb!

“THIS-ONE’S” GOT-A-MIND! – a-mind TO-KICK MY BUM!

And THEN:

To-kiss-IT – and try- to-make-up,

For ALL THE PAIN, so-IT-offers-me-a-cup,

Of RED, RED WINE!

So, of-course, I DRINK!

And-THEN –

WHO-KNOWS-WHERE-I’LL-GO-but-I-think:

It’s AN AMAZING RIDE, so I’ll HOLD ON,

And – HOPE I don’t fall off!

Oh, man!

I’M GONE!
