House-poet

A smile costs nothing yet gives so much,

It brightens a room with a simple touch.

It lingers in hearts, a soft, gentle trace,

Turning moments into memories, filling cold space.

It nurtures the home and goodwill it sows,

A beacon of friendship wherever it goes.

It comforts the weary, brings cheer to the lost,

And dispels the shadows, no matter the cost.

A free treasure it can’t be confined,

For it thrives when it’s given, through love intertwined.

When others are weary, lacking their own,

Share with them joy—a smile brightly shone.

No one needs kindness as much as the ones

Who’s forgotten the warmth when their own light is gone?

So give your smile freely, let it be shared,

In a world that needs laughter, show how much you care.
