As the chill of snow in the time of harvest, so is a faithful messenger to them that send him: for he refresheth the soul of his masters.

A farmer works all summer, and it’s hot. In harvest time, he is bringing in his food from the field, but sometimes it’s still hot. Hopefully, though, it’s cooling down, and maybe it will even snow. This is a relief to a farmer after a long summer. Their whole body relaxes. Similarly, a messenger who is faithful to deliver a master’s message well is a relief and refreshment to him. We believers of Jesus are all messengers of the gospel. Be like the faithful messenger, and relay the gospel well.

Heavenly Father, I want to be a faithful and good representation of Your gospel. Help me to follow You, love You, and speak of You well. I want others to come to You because I spoke Your message, the gospel, rightly. Give me the words to speak when I flounder for words, which is often. When I am speechless, speak through me. In Jesus’ name. Amen.🙏🙏
