Dear Father in Heaven

@peacewriter51

I can’t express how thankful I am to my amazing friends for making the effort to come and visit! Your company truly lights up my day and brings so much joy.🎨🌈🎨

I have not shared many of his works before.

Here is this poem by Shri Nemichand Jain today-

What did you like?

Why did the mind get drawn into this noise unknowingly?

Those lonely evenings in the forest

The sweet-red yellow

The innocent blue

The desolate bank of the spring,

From somewhere the fragrant breeze

Brought the mind full of joy.

Listening to the chirping of the little birds

The mind kept asking

What did they sing

What did the innocent birds sing?

These tangled covers of this place

The body of bondage

The definition of a false life

The petty desire of empty pretence-

What did you get by coming into this noisy area?

What did you get?

Why did my heart feel drawn towards it?

(Thanks. I would like to tell you one more thing: The poems, ghazals, sher, etc. that I share in my blog posts, I usually take them from ‘Kavitakosh’ or ‘Rekhta’, which are available online.)

That’s it for today,
Namaskar.
