The mouth of a righteous man is a well of life: but violence covereth the mouth of the wicked.
A righteous person is concerned with speaking words that give life and encourage the hearer. They who are wicked are only concerned with inciting violence and hurting anyone in their way. As a Christian, you need to make sure that the words that leave your mouth are edifying, inspiring, and uplifting.
Dear God, I pray that I be mindful of every word that leaves my mouth. May I never find myself speaking hateful or hurtful words toward anyone. I want my words to uplift everyone I come into contact with. In Jesus’ name, I pray. Amen.
