And the Lord said unto Cain, Why art thou wroth? and why is thy countenance fallen?
Anger is a normal and unavoidable human emotion. We all become angry at one time or another. Our anger is often stirred up when we witness mistreatment of our friends or unfair outcomes in the lives of loved ones. It’s inevitable that we will become angry when people hurt, but we cannot allow anger to control our actions and lead us to sin. Instead of being quick to anger, let us turn our anger over to the Lord.
Father, Anger is a dangerous emotion if allowed to get out of hand. We ask for guidance as we turn our feelings of hurt and anger over to you this day. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.
