The Cross

God needs you to understand πŸ˜”πŸ˜”πŸ™πŸ™πŸ™πŸ˜”πŸ˜”πŸ˜”

πŸ™πŸ™

Easter brings many thoughts to many people and so many this week will celebrate in their own way – some by going to church and others by silence πŸ™πŸ™’s I am the latter to me simple and sacred silence leads me closer to God πŸ™

I do not see as so many that cross as a symbol of death but as a symbol of life and that life that l have because a father sacrificed his only son Jesus (Iesu) and with that death came life πŸ™

Those who understand events leading up to that day know of that ‘ Last Supper ‘ the last meal shared with those who were ‘ handpicked’ called the disciples and that yes included Judas who was brought into the fold like a lost sheep without a shepherd to guide him onto the ‘ Path of Righteousness ‘ as today some will come and some will be chosen at the end of days πŸ™

These events included a very significant time ‘ Breaking of the Bread’ and those simple words spoken by Jesus (Iesu) ‘ This is My Body’ and with the ‘Wine’ this is my blood l shed for you not that anyone realized how important these would be then and at the end of days πŸ’™

Before that fateful day other events took place with Judas and of course betrayal as Jesus (Iesu) said to him just before that ‘ One at this Table Tonight ‘ will betray me and each one in turn said ‘ Not I Master ‘ as they shared this ‘ Holy Repast ‘ for the last time πŸ™

We move to another simple but to me and many others a saying about denial by Peter ( called the rock on which l will build me church) that the cock would crow three times and Peter would deny he knew Christ and as we know he did πŸ™

The finally significant event was in the ‘ Garden of Gethsemane ‘ when the Romans came and Judas betrayed Jesus ( Iesu ) with a simple kiss on the cheek and he was taken away and arrested πŸ™

But for me, the most significant event was still to come when Jesus (Iesu) was on the cross with two others side by side and one asked a simple question – ‘ Why Do You Not Save Yourself ‘ and he said l did not come for myself but others so they maybe saved πŸ™

This is the most meaningful statement of all it was then at that single second in time all those gathered knew him for who he truly was not a man but truly the ‘ Son of God ‘ sacrificed by the father for those that one day could and will be saved but most of all spoken by the ‘ Holy Word ‘ uttered by Jesus (Iesu) just before he committed his ‘ Holy Spirit’ to God in Heaven to remain there until the appointed time to return πŸ™

So that cross and its pain showed finally that only by true sacrifice of ones self can you truly be saved so l say unto you make this Easter a time of understanding that we have a chance to become one with God and know that he sacrificed his only son Jesus (Iesu) for Us πŸ™

AMEN πŸ™πŸ™
