Sometimes we read scripture and wonder how much easier life would be if Jesus were right here with us, just as he was with his disciples long ago.

But Jesus reminds us that it is better for us that he is not confined to the limits of an earthly body.

He prepares heaven to receive us while at the same time remaining with us in spirit to prepare us for heaven.
