It sounds like something out of science fiction: A powerful hacking tool, sold to governments around the world, that gives its operators complete access to its targets’ mobile devices.
But Pegasus spyware is very real — and tonight, our docuseries with Forbidden Stories and Forbidden Films investigating how the hacking tool was used on journalists, human rights activists, the wife and fiancée of the murdered Saudi columnist Jamal Khashoggi, and others continues.

Surveillance technologies like Pegasus are “a military weapon used against civilians, and the civilians, they don’t have any mechanism to help them in seeking justice,” he says in tonight’s episode.
