Narcissists love the power they have over your emotions.
They love that they can easily upset you.
They can get you angry.
They can get you to react.
They could even make you sad.
They get high off of this.
It makes them feel like they are in control.
It makes them feel powerful.
They also don’t want you to think too highly of yourself because then you might leave them.
They are terrified of abandonment.
So they do everything that makes a person want to abandon them, thinking they could make them stay.
“Make them stay” not “want to stay.”
It is about control.
Narcissists are very self-sabotaging and destroy anything good that comes in their path.
Deep down they know they don’t deserve it.
It is deep down and unconscious.
On the surface they are egotistical and they think they are the best things coming and going. –
Self-absorbed personality disorder
They do escalate
No matter how much they try to hang onto you
Run the other way
