The public and media are thanked for their assistance.

Earlier: Detectives from Maryborough Criminal Investigation Branch (CIB) are seeking urgent public assistance to help identify three witnesses as investigations continue into the deaths of Todd Mooney and his 10-year-old daughter Kirra at Biggenden last week (Tuesday, December 20).

Operation Uniform Belisama was launched on December 29 after scientific examination determined that a shed fire, in which their remains were located, was deliberately lit.

Police have released CCTV and images taken at the Ban Ban Springs BP Service Station, corner of Isis Highway and Burnett Highway, between 11.50am and 12.20pm on Tuesday, December 20, of three people (witnesses).

The three, a man on his own, and a man and woman travelling together, have no link to the deceased but may have information for the investigation with police urgently appealing for them to come forward.

Around 11.50am an elderly male driver of a white utility arrived at the Ban Ban Springs BP Service Station – he was wearing a white hat – and entered the store buying a bottle of water (see attached images and CCTV below).

Around 12.30pm a man and woman, in a white Nissan Patrol, arrived at the service station, entering the store. Police also urgently wish to speak to both of them (see attached images and CCTV below).

Police are appealing to the three, or anyone who recognises them or their vehicles, to contact police immediately.

Detectives are also appealing for any motorists travelling along the Isis Highway between Goomeri and Biggenden between 11am and 1pm on December 20, and anyone who was at the Ban Ban Springs BP Service Station between those same times to urgently contact police.
