Pretty rare to see these made nowadays though.

This is a great photo of a traditional humpy. I have heard that they are not so pleasant a place to endure torrential rains, but they are authentically Aboriginal and could be modified to serve as comfortable and safe quarters.
Sir, interesting comment that lol 😊 rain is very rare in the Northern Territory plus bark huts are only temporary as Aboriginal life followed the food chain. Tribes were nomadic. 🤗
Hmm. I know the interior of NT is arid, but doesn’t Arnhem Land get a robust rainy season?
