The Scotsman says Tory leadership candidate Rishi Sunak has told rival Liz Truss that ignoring the SNP would be “dangerously complacent” as he laid out his plans for Scotland were he to become prime minister.

Liz Truss is also pictured on the front of the Daily Telegraph. The paper says former chancellor Mr Sunak has accused her of being “dangerously complacent” about the threat First Minister Nicola Sturgeon poses to the Union.

The Herald is warning that energy bills are set to reach £4,000 next year for Scots. According to independent consultancy predictions, the government’s price cap could need to be increased soon.
